Sounds like Simon's famous fall from Series four!

Or possibly Nathan's from Series 8.

I think if I'm not mistaken, Nathan's was a case of misjudgement though.

Re:stupid dungenera (prob spelt wrong)
Nathan's mis-step was definately down to misjudgement I'd say. Mind you, it wasn't a "very difficult puzzle" despite what Treguard said, and a team really could have done it without magical aid.

Definitely.
Actually I think you're right, the team could've easily got through without magic, maybe Treguard was just trying to make them feel better.

It was an unfortunate ending for that team as I liked them quite a bit.
I think the whole in the floor appeared once the advisors had told him to move, hence why he went floating off down it.

No, the hole was already there. It was the same mistake as Simon's team made, though slightly more excusable, since they said it much less carefully and calmly and with much less time to correct themselves.

It was an amusing death, as I've always said. Even Treguard commented on their lack of good judgement.
Team 1 of S3 made a similar mistake by stepping into the sand pit, although the camera angles do switch a bit on that was, feels as if the dungeoneer jumps in the sand. Very unfortunate.

Team 5 series 3 also had a 'sidestep left' death. They thought they would make it across that ledge by a straightforward sidestep, clearly misjudged.

Yes, but didn't they die on the serpent's tongue and were allowed to carry on? Therefore it was probably a "forced death"Kieran wrote: It was an amusing death, as I've always said. Even Treguard commented on their lack of good judgement.

Am not sure if I've ever heard of them 'dying' in that room, to be honest, and why would they be alllowed to carry on if they were going to be 'forced' to die anyhow? Seems a bit pointless in keeping the quest going if they did die in the serpents chamber.

Re:stupid dungenera (prob spelt wrong)
Well, that information comes from the team themselves, and has been somewhat corroborated by TC afaik. They were allowed to continue because Cliff and co hadn't yet arrived at the studio. I don't think they were forced to die, I think they genuinely did stuff up their manoeuvring again.Kieran wrote:Am not sure if I've ever heard of them 'dying' in that room, to be honest, and why would they be alllowed to carry on if they were going to be 'forced' to die anyhow?
