Re:The Spider
In fact she was named on her very first appearance, which was team 2 season 2.

There are but 2 rules in this realm:-
1) He who sees first is the winner...
2) He who is seen first is toast...

Shelob? Shelob?
How dare you mention her name in this place.....still, better than mentioning Aragog I suppose.
I must admit to being something of an Ariadne worshipper.
Maybe I'll start my own cult.

Re:The Spider
Ah The Gloomweaver! Forgot about her.
I suppose she should be classed as a higher being than Shelob. After all Ungoliant is reputed to have eaten herself, a bizarre demise. Worthy of some respect.

This idea has already been explored, quite effectively... have a look at the character Celania, and her adventures, on the Roleplay Forum.Semtex Jack wrote:I must admit to being something of an Ariadne worshipper.

Ariadne's lair
Which version of Ariadne's lair was best?
Also why do you think she was missed out of series 3 and then brought back for series 4?

Re:Ariadne's lair
Season 2. The season 4 version just didn't look like a spider's lair.
I don't know why she was missed out of season 3. Maybe they just had a lot of other stuff they wanted to use? :-\

If 'exclude' is the opposite of 'include', then what's the opposite of 'increment'?

Re:Ariadne's lair
I always liked the idea of the lair being in a dark and dingy forrest, thoug I suppose a cave would've been just as good.
What I didn't like was on the later series when the lair was just in an ordinary looking room with a web in it or could be accessed through the Cloudwalker.
I think Ariadne would've been good in the caves near the end of level two, where she could have been used to hurry teams along. I think she'd have been a lot better than that giant frog that did nothing.

Re:Ariadne's lair
oh, she was in a forest in season 4? Ah, ok. I was thinking of the one where she was in that room from level 1 in season 3.
Yeah, a forest is a good place for a spider's lair - but I'm a purist, and I don't like forests being in KM in the first place ¬_¬
