I liked the cave sequence in the 4th series where you had the room with the icy bridge (and sometimes the brilliant mogdred) followed by the transporter pads.
The only way is onward, there is no turning back. Oooh nasty, didn't realise the road ended there!

I like Slice-Me-Dice-Me from KMVR. I'd have liked to see a failed attempt at that.

Block and Tackle.
My favourite room ever.
Really - it was very simple - just walk in a straight line to the right-hand door.
But with so much going on, it's easy to scare the pants off anybody

I was a big fan of the teleporting pads room from S4, along with the Corridor of Blades.
Play Your Cards Right was quite fun, too.

But to be fair, you only know that because you've watched it. If you were the first team to encounter it, how would you know that the blocks fall from left to right? It's not like the causeways of later series that have a specific code on them. There's no way for the team to know that you just have to walk in a straight line. They don't know which blocks are safe.Aldude wrote: Block and Tackle.

The Series 3, Level 3 entrance had a very intimidating look to it for reasons I can't quite explain, but are something to do with being far underground, without help being anywhere near. Some real underground tunnels look the same in photos, although thankfully I've not felt quite the same in reality about any I've seen (I'm with a group of possible loonies who explore old mines).

The Causeways with the Frightknight timer in Series 6 - at least that way the team knew they had to be quick on their feet.

Re:FAV ROOMS IN SERIES(ANY SERIES)
The Block And Tackle should've been retained for later seasons. It was actually a far more effective quest-killer than the CoB, and at least as terrifying. They also could've made it even more difficult; say, make the left exit the only one that is accessible after a while! Imagine the panic that could ensue as the team weighs up whether to chase for the right-hand door and a safer long-term path, or plump for the easier left option, and deal with the greater danger beyond it when they come to it! *Evil grin*Ariadne's Layer wrote:But to be fair, you only know that because you've watched it. Re:FAV ROOMS IN SERIES(ANY SERIES)
It has to be the causeway. When I was young I used to feel so nervous for the team that had to guide the dungeoneer over it - especially in level 3!
