Re: Legal Knightmare DVDs
Hi Mystara,
This might sound like a silly question, but would the dvd's be off the broadcast tapes? Or are we talking copies off Challenge etc?
Thanks,
Debz

They'd be from the broadcast tapes.
Legal, original copies of the master footage.

Re: Legal Knightmare DVDs
Well I'm definitely in! I vaguely remember the earlier series being more expensive from ITV/Granada because they were an older format, would this affect the price.
Thanks for getting back so quick!

Re: Legal Knightmare DVDs
I haven't come across anything that suggests the older episodes would be more expensive.
But to be honest, the copying prices are a fraction of the total costs.

I'd definitely buy them. It would be great to get Knightmare on DVD.

I for one would certainly be interested in buying Knightmare DVDs. Depending on the price, I may even buy extra copies for presents

This would be great, if it's possible! Hope there's enough interest.

Needless to say, I approve of the idea and am promoting this in other places beyond here.

Re: Legal Knightmare DVDs
Once again, for those who inevitably will miss my earlier posting.
Please please post this link everywhere you can and to everyone you can. The active Knightmare community alone does not have sufficient mass to make this thing move. We need to find fans who aren't aware of the community (or are usually silent) AND would buy the DVD.
Therefore, if you want this to have the slightest chance of taking off, we need to get people outside the usual circle to see this thread, comment here and (ideally) repost the link to their friends. We need everyone to do everything they can to make this known to the world.
Facebook it, twitter it, livejournal it, myspace it and then email all your friends about it and ask them to do the same

Re: Legal Knightmare DVDs
Have you tried getting in touch with some tv nostalgia websites and getting them to offer their support, maybe provide a link on their websites? There are a couple of facebook groups that people might want to post on also.

Marvellous, Let's hope we get ENOUGH support to make this viable.

Yes, nostalgia has led me to buy quite a number of DVDs, and Knightmare is definitely on my "would buy if it existed" list.

Re: Legal Knightmare DVDs
An update:
We now believe that all of the episodes are available and have located the mysteriously unlisted episodes.
That's another obstacle removed.
Keep promoting!
