new series on challenge.
What do you think the odds are for a new series of knightmare on challenge now? After all the posts on the challenge forum do u think challenge may change there minds about Knightmare? I think they should put Knightmare in the crystal mazes slot.

Re: new series on challenge.
Given that a series of Km is expensive to get and that Challenge have announced a change in direction of programming, I would say that the chances of them getting another series are not very high at the moment. :(

I could waffle on for several paragraphs about what I think, but it still boils down to this:
I'm hedging my bets.

Re: new series on challenge.
Well, there's still Anchor Bay; I believe they'll be doing a review I think in June (or thereabouts) about what titles to release. With a bit of luck, our favourite show will be one of them! :)
Perhaps they could release series 1 as a test, since it can fit onto one disc. That would allow a second disc to be crammed with all sorts of extras! (I might have gone on about this once or twice before!!)
It'd be nice to have commentary as well. I got the Red Dwarf series 2 DVD last week and all the episodes have got cast commentary on them - it's a hoot! ;D

Do you reckon, as I do, that all the flurry of recent activity suggests that Challenge TV are about to bid to show the NEW series of KM?

Challenge showing Series 9,
*thinks*
Not a bad Idea HStorm if I may say.
but they still have to show Series 1 & 2,
But at least their showing Series 6, 7 & 8.

And so say all of us!
There are but 2 rules in this realm:-
1) He who sees first is the winner...
2) He who is seen first is toast...

I don't happen to believe Challenge? will get KM9, to be honest....But that is just my theory. Methinks a larger company will get it.

ITV or maybe Sky Broadcasting. Sky has the rights to show the newest Series of 24, the last of which was shown on the BBC. If Sky Broadcasting have enough money to outbid the BBC, maybe they're a real contender...

Re: S6, 7 & 8
I know who my money is on! However, I'm not sure if it's appropriate to commentate on something as potentially huge as this - something is going on behind the scenes and has been for quite a while now, imo. I think it might be prudent in this case if we don't discuss the commissioning. The process itself is, I imagine, a highly delicate process. Perhaps we should sit in the background (discussing privately, of course!) and wait for events to take their course.

I am pretty sure that if Challenge get anything they will get Timegate though because...I don't happen to believe Challenge? will get KM9, to be honest....But that is just my theory. Methinks a larger company will get it.

That's very curious - TimeGate was not mentioned in the initial post. JamesP may well have given the game away (or at least one of them!)
