Challenge secures rights to Fun House... and Knightmare?

Challenge have just announced on their Facebook page they've secured the rights to show two series of Fun House. Given how Knightmare is never far away from that show could we be on the verge of good news?

Haha, that'll please all the viewers who were horrified by CITV picking two post-mullet episodes!

I like how "We're still working on Knightmare" is accompanied by a winky face... I hope it means they are optimistic, though I might be reading too much into it.

Sounds promising! I still believe they will show it again. Especially after the feedback Knightmare received from the old skool weekend.

Challenge said yesterday on Facebook: "We are still to be decided on when [Fun House] will start as hoping to pair it up with another classic kids game show"! What do you suppose they could be referring to?!

The fact that they're delaying the launch of an already-acquired show for this gives me great hope indeed that they expect to acquire the other one...

Another positive sign is Challenge announced they've bought the rights to Bullseye, so this and Fun House show they're clearly acquiring shows for the coming year. If Knightmare should return to Challenge I reckon it'll be announced sooner rather than later.

Latest FB comment from Challenge gives an estimated timescale - "still waiting as we want to pair it up with another kids show so could be a couple of months". (They have confirmed that the other show is Knightmare.)

More tweets today - Challenge are *still* in negotiations for Knightmare and will "hopefully have news soon!" Someone else asked about Fun House and they replied "will be announcing the date soon :-)"
