I was absolutely devastated when I first read about this last week and felt that I should write something in response.

Tom was an absolute gentleman and a genuinely friendly person to speak to when I interviewed him for my 25th Anniversary Documentary. He was absolutely delighted when I invited him to take part in the documentary and his communication with myself was wholly uplifting and positive both before and after filming his interview.

I recall his relaxed approch to how I interviewed him, suggesting i should just roll the camera in case he happened to come up with any useful pieces with information. What followed was a 30 minute video discussion of me and him talking, where I also got to put forward my questions as well as those submitted by members of this forum at the time.

It was also Tom who also got me in contact with Tim Child in regards to the documentary, so the former definitely deserves additional credit for the part he played here as well.

Thanks for sharing the link to Tom's tribute page Annie - I'll make a donation as well as light a candle very soon.

Not for the first time, I've been thinking about how glad I am that you made that documentary when you did, James! It was wonderful to hear from all the actors and it's so sad that we've lost two of them since, both very unexpectedly. :(

Rosey and I have been watching Series 2 & 3 recently. I always find it rather sobering to watch a Knightmare actor whom I've found out has passed away since the last time I saw them. Tom Karol created some really entertaining scenes.
