So, I noticed that Knightmare live is doing a 10th anniversary tour. So, after booking for the nearest venue, I decided to make something new to celebrate the occasion. I went for a mix between early season screen accurate and illustration accurate, just trying to capture the general look and design details. It's a little over-sized so it looks proportionally correct for cosplay on an adult instead of a child.
I started this using whatever materials I had lying around at the time and went into with no plan at all. Many screw-ups later, I have something I'm happy with for a first attempt. I've got plans for an improved version after I've finished a few other projects.

There are some flaws where I made some mistakes and had to improvise to cover them but you'd need to look closely to find them and it's really comfy to wear. Other than a few tweaks to the shape, the horns are the biggest issue. Making them both sturdy and light was challenge because the materials I had weren't ideal and they ended up a bit over-sized.Hordriss wrote: 21 Aug 2025, 03:30 Plans for an IMPROVED version?! I've since significantly expanded my 3D printing capabilities (although I'm waiting on some replacement parts right now), so I'll probably just model and print the horns to the exact size and shape I need if I get around to making another one. I mostly just make things for fun whenever I'm going to Knightmare live now. Last time I did a fright night cosplay but that was a super rushed job making the helmet.
