Re: Book
There are a few Knightmare books - you can actually download some of them in PDF format from The Underdogs, I think (search for Knightmare).
One minor point: It's spelt DISMISS. Welcome to the board, anyway.

Re: Book
I resisted saying that! If you want plenty of spelling mistakes, look at the "Dream Series" thread. *shudder*One minor point: It's spelt DISMISS.

Re: Book
I found:
Book 5 - The forbidden gate advertised on Amazon (uk) the other day
, I think that there are two copies available from the seller.
Book 3 - Fortress of Assassins on www.Lairs.com (which I think is based in the USA so I don't know if it could be shipped to the UK). The price is also in dollars.
I will try to keep looking to see if I could find any more

Re: Book
I don't remember the title but I've only ever read one of the Knightmare "choose your path" books.
I remember one of the puzzles though..."If you want to meet a brute simply take the castle route, if a bishop you would see, take his way and walk free"...or somthing along those lines.

Re: Book
Yeah, well my local libraries used to have most of the Knightmare books, but not any more (old books seem to get sold in the ex-library book sales from time to time).

Re: Book
it was 'if a bishop you would be, take his steps for passage free' i think... (oh i am so sad for knowing that off the top of my head).
i cheated blatantly at those books. and i ate them.
kinda wish i hadn't now.
if anyone likes those choose your own path books, i was speaking to a company at gencon who are re-releasing a set. i can probably get more information on the names and stuff as frank got one of the books. not knightmare related but meh.
