Gunrada's quest
At the beginning of S4 Gundrada said that she was on a quest and that she couldn't cut off heads til she'd completed it. Lataer on she wanted to cut of some heads, so did she complete her quest or give it up. Merlin said she would never complete it becaseu she was too selfish and she certainly carried on being selfish.

Re:Gunrada's quest
I don't really agree with people calling Gundrada selfish, since she's generally quite keen to help dungeoneers by fighting off gobwins and Fwightknights. (typos intentional) Also she's the only person ever to help a Dungeoneer through the Corridor of Blades.

I agree. I always thought that behind the tough warrior girl act, Gundrada was fundamentally quite likeable.

Yes, but what about the quest? What could it possibly be?

Re:Gunrada's quest
I'm betting her quest is just to beat the bejeezus out of any goblin, Frightknight or dwarf that crosses her path... and to steal their gold.

Re:Gunrada's quest
I would have liked to have seen Gundrada, and indeed the actress who played her (Samantha Perkins?) stay on into Series 5 as Michael Cule and his characters did. This would also have given Malice's character a chance to develop - instead we had Aesandre (and Gwendoline), whom I found less interesting.
Were I to write another Quantum Leap crossover fanfic, I might consider including Gundrada (an idea given to me by Malefact!).

Re:Gunrada's quest
Yeah, I'd have lied to see Gundrads in S5 too. Though Gwendoline IS quite hot... ahem.
I'm going to use Gundrada in my fanfic, should I ever write it, (unlikely since I really like her. Sure, she's thick, but she also carries a big fricken' sword...
