Re:Level 3
Season 3 as it had real obstacles in it and plenty of them.

Re:Level 3
Difficult wasn't it, ther was no second chances, but then again that's what series 3 was like.

Re:Level 3
Series 7 and the sewers of Goth were tough, they had puzzles, character meetings and tested if teams could guide their dungeoneer properly. I'll go for series 7 because of the good mix.
In Series 8, they tried to cover too much ground (geographically I mean.) Levels 1 and 2 were room-to-room but 3 had to take the dungeoneer from the dungeon, though both towers and onto the final encounter.

Series 7's was good, and 3 was solid. Personally, i preferred 6 - puzzles, drama, meetings.

Re:Level 3
I thought S6 level 3 was awful! What puzzles were there apart from a tediously over-extended causeway?
Season 7's level 3 was a big improvement because of the Play Your Cards Right puzzle and the sewer, which made for real obstacles, but it still paled in terms of variety and consistent difficulty when compared with the earlier seasons.

Re:Level 3
I liked the series 4 level 3 because it had:
Crumblng bridge
Transporter pads
Corridor of blades
Two great villains
Magic from Hodris, Mallice and Merlin

Re:Level 3
Yeah. Season 4 didn't have much going for it, but the variety of the chambers in level 3 that year was a big redeeming feature.

Re:Level 3
I suppoose series 4 level 3 could have done with a couple more rooms for variety.
It was good also that not everything in one quest happened in the same order as another quest in level 3 becuase the first two levels were far too predictable.
I'd have liked to see some Goblins or Cavernwights in it though cos those skull ghosts were nothing special.

Re:Level 3
Seasons 3 and 7 probably had the best Level 3.
S6 was not bad at all, although I feel it was mainly built up on tension rather than outrght difficulty. S4 was severely lacking on the Quest side of things (in general, not just L3), and there could have been more obstacles. S8 was entertaining, the level looked very very nice, but that's all I'll say for now so I don't spoil the upcoming Challenge? episodes.

Re:Level 3
The best level 3 for me would be a combination of series 3, 4 and 7.

Re:Level 3
Series 4? I'll defend the season a great deal, but the Level 3 was not full of danger and did not require a HUGE amount of skill to complete.
The Quest room was guarded by a Skull...which floated off itself with no Dungeoneer interaction. Just wish it had been built up a bit more.

Re:Level 3
Yeah I do agree. It had some good challenges but not enough.
The corridor of blades is one of its best features, the crumbling bridge was too easy and I don't really understand how the Transporter pads worked, but liked them anyway.
No doubt about it, it needed more challenges and greater threats. They should've used that swinging blade thing that was on the ending credits once.

Re:Level 3
season 4 also had had the team to get all 3 correct answers, And we saw the B N T once in level 3.
Season 5 did have the best causeway,
Season 6 didn't have any real danger apart from it's causeways and fear.
7 did have the pycr, the only real danger (and fear) as good as the game is, it's only one puzzle.
season 2 and 3 looked the best but i can't remember what it had off the top of my head... most of it was life force damage then anything else.. i do however remember the 'cats' room and that nasty (s3) ledge we saw, many questions were asked to.
