Hi all - Well how cool to see a site about Knightmare - one of the most daring and technically challenging programmes of its time! Brings back memories of sitting cross-legged in front of the telly after school, fascinated by how it was all being done!
I didn't realise that Robert Harris at Travelling Matte was behind the opening titles of the later series of Knightmare. I met Robert briefly when I was about eight or nine years old and he let me use his graphics computer (perhaps even 'the' Knightmare computer???) to scrawl my name and a picture of a house and take a VHS of it to school to show everyone. I was totally hooked from that moment on... and I now work in television graphics! So thanks Robert, you and Knightmare started my career!
