Ok, so I maybe, like, a little dense in this area, but does everyone remember that riddle that Merlin gave the team in series 4 which was all said backwards. Firstly, does anyone else think it is a stupid idea coz it's so difficult, and secondly- what were the answers!!!
And here is a my second question. I'm one of those people who has the beginning of episode 2, season 3 missing. What happens- how does Cliff get out of the room, and what is Bragwen's first riddle?
Yeah I remember that riddle, perhaps we are both dense cos I did not understand that at all! Perhaps they realised their mistake cos it was never used again!
Heh heh heh did you get series 3 from the same supplier I did? I would also be interested to find out what happens!! ;D
"You think maybe a girl can't do this? Ha!! Like camel I spit on you!!"
As I said in another thread, I thought those backwards ones were pretty unfair. I was confused too. I have a feeling a lot of people were.
"Sometimes of the Grey, but always of the Green, dearie. Shurrup Brollachan! Have you seen Festus, my dear? I need to take him back to Cornwall. " [cackle]
Well, I don't know if they'd have been good enough to win, but those Opposites were just horrific. They win the "Team I Feel Sorry For That Series" award hands down, no contest.
I think Series 4 would be the one I'd have least liked to have been in. Those opposites were just evil, and I could never work out how you were meant to traverse the Block and Tackle. So I'd have been absolutely hopeless, unless the production team had been very very very kind.

The floor always started to disintegrate from the left, so all you had to do was just move to the right, and provided you can dodge the blocks, just run like the wind through the right hand door and you've done it

Lol, I think I could manage it ten years on. Obviously going left is bad, bad, bad. Right is right. I think it's the blocks that always confused me. I'll have to watch a successful attempt on video sometime. But in any case, as a young teenager I'd have been dead, dead, dead. Oooh, Nasty.

Series 4 Team 4 is perfect example of how NOT to do it ;D
Everyone always laughs about them, and they always get quoted in the "Stupid Things Teams Did" threads, but I don't think they were quite as dumb as some. Okay, sidestepping left was a bad mistake, but the panic that puzzle naturally induced in teams is understandable. And when you panic you can say anything without thinking. I guess more than anything, surviving the B&T was about holding your nerve and more than a little luck. Oh, and hoping you haven't just been asked some weird opposite riddles by Merlin.

I'm taking a guess at Jeremy's team that appeared after Thingyon's quest, but surely that could account for at least 60% of those who attempted the B+T? :)

Or just run like a headless chicken to the wrong side and come a cropper
Anyone guess which team I'm talking about yet? ;)
That's very funny to watch tho'. In fairness, it's probably what I would have done.
