Spoonerisms
I've made a new page on my site with some spoonerism riddles, of the bad money/mad bunny variety that was so heinously botched by the dingeoneer in S3, but I'd like some more.
Drassil has sent me this extra one...
What's the difference between a red-clad mage and a Chinese philosopher who won't throw things away?
One is Hordriss the Confuser and the other is Confucius the Hoarder.
But can the rest of you think up some more for me?
Go to http://havetstorm.tripod.com/knightmare/id41.html
to read the others.

Re: Spoonerisms
This ain't a spoonerism but a riddle I had thrown at me after admitting to a Knightmare addiction at College:-
"A fire breathing horse be me and many a rider I carry, My masters don't use whips nor spurs but 2 sword blades guide my fate."
"What am I?"
Answer next time I'm past here...

There are but 2 rules in this realm:-
1) He who sees first is the winner...
2) He who is seen first is toast...

"What am I?"

And what the hey, while I'm on a roll:-
"From geometric waters outside the dungeon be me. Many have come here but few have left....."

What's the difference between an opposition leader and a Shakespearean character that makes cars?
One is called Lord Fear and the other is called Ford Lear.

Re: Spoonerisms
You could probably make anything Knightmare-related into a spoonerism, it's making up the question that's the hard part!
For example, you could make Mount Fear into Fount Meer, but thinking up a riddle to go with that is next to impossible!

One day you say "Enter Stranger" and big goblin comes in!
Re: Spoonerisms
Does a spoonerism have to change like this
Mount Fear--->Fount Mear
or can it be any letters
Mount Fear--->Count Sear
(I am not an idiot I just cannot remember this)

Re: Spoonerisms
In a spoonerism you have to reverse the first letters of each word - "Fount Mear", as you said.
Other examples include "Get me a well-boiled icicle", "You have tasted a whole worm" and "Is the bean dizzy?"

Re: Spoonerisms
This is a slightly rude contribution and I apologise:
What's the difference between the Dungeon Antechamber and a urinal with a custodian who charges money?
In one are Pickle and Treguard, and in the other, you trickle then pay guard.

Re: Spoonerisms
Thanks. Ready for some more?
What's the difference between...
...A cat shedding hair in high temperatures, and a jester coming to a stop?
One's molting hotly, and the other's a halting Motley.
...Hordriss and Golgarach?
One's walking tall, and the other's...
A female parent's orthodontic device, and a tavern monk?
One's a mother brace, the other is...
...Good driving and a Goblin Master?
One's car skill and the other's...

Re: Spoonerisms
Clever stuff. You've clearly been putting a lot of thought into them. How sad. Still I'm the one who invented the topic, so who am I to talk?
I'll add 'em to the page soon.

So, I've gone from 'perfect' to 'sad' within a few posts. Oh well, that's life.
