author=Ark link=board=news;num=1037982457;start=20#29 date=12/24/02 at 15:38:54 Hehehe...Also, the red-haired girl in the trailer was pretty cute (and I think that deserves a slap on the face for stereotypical maleness... :) )
I would have said exactly the same thing - but without any shame  ;D

Hehehe...that unnamed girl's going to have her own fan club before Timegate ever appears on TV at this point...  ;D

I also wonder about the whole "Pay him - we don't have a choice!" thing. I'd have kick thed guy in the nads, stolen the key, and scattered his body parts all over the realm! (Hmmm, I'm a little TOO like Lord Wraith here...)

It would certainly show an aggressive side to the programme  ;)

This is why I'll never be allowed on any of these shows. :( Just too violent and argumentative.

Advisor: Get going, and don't look behind you!
Me: I'll look behind me if I want to!
Advisor: DON'T!!!
Me: Ah, just a couple of giant rats. I can take 'em!
*sound of rats going 'splat'*
Advisor: Look out! Here comes the RSPCA!!!
Me: Ah, a bit more challenging. Better use my board with a nail in it...

Heh, it'd be a lot funnier with a few contestants like that. :)

Does anyone have any info on Timegate?

Post by Malefact »

Hello! Does anyone have any new information on Timegate? I heard C4 were supposed to show it last year but the BBC stepped in or something. I wanna know when it's starting!

Thanks very much! I've just seen the movie clip - very nice indeed! I liked how the player was transformed from real to avatar by walking through the gate itself. Something like that could work very well for a new series of Km. The dungeoneer could walk through the dungeon door, and a pre-made sequence of him/her walking through a dwarf tunnel could be shown, giving them time to get to their VR console.

Yeah - I agree.
Oh look there's J.G. Ballard in a burnt-out fridge with a spitfire pilot.

It is my understanding BBC stepped in when C4 pulled out, I haven't heard anything that says otherwise to that thus far, I think Ii'd prefer it on BBC too, as it means NO ADS  ;D :D

Very true. No ads and no logos either.

I hope we find out soon.
