Pixel, the Pixie

By Keith McDonald

Pixel was an animated pixie with a stinging needle that defended dungeoneers from Opposition forces.

Pixel was an animated all-white female pixie in the guise of Tinker Bell.

Her function was to be a weapon. She would fly around the room and sting Opposition characters with her needle until they relented.

Pixel knows this, and so should you.

Pixel

Picky Pixie

Pixel was often found or supplied in a box and could be carried until she was needed. On one occasion, she is summoned by an eponymous spell, PIXEL.

She had a high-pitched voice and could talk to dungeoneers, even from inside the box.

Pixel the Pixie, voiced by Stephanie Hesp, as seen in Series 5 of Knightmare (1991).

Pixel was quite haughty and demanding. One team must buy fresh flowers before she will help them.

She was suspicious of most humans but particularly disliked goblins and the goblin master. Her regular victims were Skarkill and Sylvester Hands.

These opponents normally ran off. They might provide a password if the dungeoneer called her off.

On one occasion, Pixel gets frustrated as a team stall at a causeway and offers help - but the team still fell to their doom. Useful that she could fly!
