Re: Convention DVDs?
Hey... if there's a second convention, do you think as a fundraising perk, we could pay for a download of the extended Geek Week episode / Lords of the Game? Is there any reason why that couldn't happen?

Re: Convention DVDs?
Unfortunately not.
Rights issues prevent the sale of either LOTG or the Geek Week episode. That's part of the reason we didn't include either of them on the DVD.

In that case, is there any chance that the extended geek week episode will ever see the light of day? I'm sure somewhere Tim Child mentioned this would be shown but I may be wrong.Mystara wrote:Unfortunately not.

The only way is onward, there is no turning back.

If and when the DVD comes out, please let me know. By the sounds of it, it all looks good. Credit to all those who made the Knightmare con possible. I really enjoyed it thanks

Pilots
I wonder if the Lords Of The Game pilot will forever remain a convention exclusive or if there might still be any future opportunity to see it. (And the pilot eps of Knightmare, for that matter. Would be cool if Tim could dig them out for the 40th anniversary next year!)

Re: Convention DVDs?
Speaking of dvds.
I NEVER received one, nor did I get my money back for ask lord fear, a perk I never got to use.
I was royally ripped off with this experience and never got a reply full stop when I asked.
I'm only glad I got to meet Hugo again at Nor-con a few years after. I enjoyed the experience at nightmare convention but not how I was ignored and forgotten here. One of many reasons I never returned here because of how angry this experience left me. Like I was punished.

Re: Convention DVDs?
Hi,
I have looked through our correspondence from that time. As far as I can see you bought a regular ticket, which (as I told you at the time) did not include a DVD. You asked if you could upgrade it and I pointed out that the combined ticket you were after was only available during the kickstarter phase as a thank you to those that supported us.
I do not have any email from you asking for a refund, nor any email from you to say that you were promised a DVD that did not arrive.
Indeed, I have no record of anyone not receiving promised goods and sent out several warnings to speak up before the company wrapped up.
You said you didn’t “get” to use your ask lord fear questions. I’m not quite sure what that means.
Even though the convention company legally wrapped up 12 years ago, I will do what I can to get you anything you may still be owed.

Re: Pilots
I fear it’s unlikely. The show was filmed as “not for broadcast” so I imagine that legally it cannot be distributed. We did ask if we could include it on the DVD but although he gave it serious consideration, Tim said nay.Canadanne wrote: Yesterday, 23:58 I wonder if the Lords Of The Game pilot will forever remain a convention exclusive or if there might still be any future opportunity to see it. I fear the pilots may have the same status
