Series 3, Quest 6. Ross faces Morghanna on a narrow ledge.

Morghanna's Causeway

By Keith McDonald

This narrow causeway appeared only once but claimed one of the few teams to reach the third level in Series 3 of Knightmare.

This room is formed of a narrow and winding pathway across an abyss. It runs from the bottom-left of screen to a cave in the top-right corner.

It was only seen once (though it was used in the foreign adaptations of Knightmare, where dungeoneers could be replaced).

Morghanna's Causeway, based on a handpainted scene by David Rowe, as shown on Series 3 of Knightmare (1989).

Here, the sorceress Morghanna awaits the dungeoneer. She mocks him before sending a flashing axe to pursue him.

The team almost manages to escape but steps off near the end.

That's the trouble with Level 3, team. Every step spells danger.
