Looks like a good forum, I may soon join. I have to say, it's surprising how the unlikeliest of people on forums turn out to be KM fans. Well if you join, see ya there

Actually, I think Blig may have just managed to come up with the first coherent method of getting table-top dice based rp onto a tv screen without taking away the table-top dice based nature of the thing or turning it into either a drama or a sit-com. DM and group of players on the one side of things, playing a normal game (within pre-selected parameters). On the other side of things, after the game's over, you have actors/cgi/whatever acting out the game 'as it happened'. Edit down to 45 mins to an hour, place on bbc 2 either just after or just before Time Commanders. ...I'm not sure that this is a good thing, however.

if only they will do a whole dvd box set of knightmare though, i cant record every episode as already missed a few to record, s will just have to watch them on Challenge. nothing wrong in that though. To me it seems sticking it on everyday helps in the excitement in some way, like when Millionaire was on every day for bout a week.

Certainly would be a fun experience though. Especially if a great number of actors appear. Wow!

I agree that VHS is easier with having a video player and not having to buy a DVD player, but thats the same issue with anything? You go and buy a new film either in VHS and risk it wearing with age or getting demaganitised, or you buy a DVD and you get a perfect image for ever and extras etc, plus DVD players are getting cheeper, if not as cheap as a vcr! (the cheapest VCR i saw in argos was 60 quid, and a decent DVD player can cost around 60 70 quid). Plus with DVD writers for PC's DVD's are proberley cheaper to make

    3. Scene Selection. Yep, would be good to be able to select it by episode or by team. (Personally, I'd rather leave the start and end of episodes in.) 4. Animations and Title Sequences. It's be good to have the life force sequences on their own somewhere, plus information on how they were put together, which might fall within 1. Perhaps also falling within 1. is some mention of how the title sequences were developed- oh, and the theme music. I could think of more or develop some of these a bit but that's enough for now, I guess. Blummin' 'eck, there's a lot here! I'll just add my small contribution, in that if they can leave the introduction of Father Ted, Dangermouse et al alone in DVD compilations, then Knightmare title sequences should remain intact. It didn't look too quirky on my video tapes... Include all the types of theme music as well, of course...

Sounding fairly promising - possibly best chance in years!! Just a small point tho - Why is pickle a knight?? surely Elf-King would be more apt?? (or Arawn!!) or Treguard's ex slave, free to roam?? - bit long i guess

u can do as at long as u don't sell them to people, or give public showings. Its just like backing something up.  and u are allowed to make copys for your self as back ups.  Putting them onto a difference format wont make any difference. its like like backing up a floppy on to disc.. But as they are a tv product then the rules may be difference.. not sure if your allowed to tape off the tv and keep it.  but its not something that can be stoped and i don't think anyone really cares.   Mine u if u got cought u'll probs get more of a punishment than that guy whos been breaking into your homes lol  worse that can happen is a fine.. but unless u intend to shout out to everyone what your doing then there isnt a problem.

I own a Sega Dreamcast and have been very into online gaming since I first got it.  Ive played nearly all the DC online games and there is one that has Knightmare likeness.  A party game called Planet ring which hosts 4 games on its planet, one is called Dream dorobo.  In Dream dorobo there are 2 players each with a microphone.  The game is set in a maze with guards dogs and other stuff to be avioded.  The player in the maze must collect money bags and bring them back to the start point, however that player only has limited vision.  The 2nd player sees a different screen which shows where all the guards and dogs are and must guide the 1st player to the bags avioding all the obsticles. Its an hilarious game.  Hearing the advisor at the other end of the mic shouting DOG DOG DOG DOG, go back turn round no not there....... ohh sorry. If this can be done on a sega dreamcast then Im sure much more is possible on other sstems or PC's.  However I have severe doubts for an actual online release of KM. As for Planet ring and Dream dorobo its a bit of a sad story.  The games still around on Ebay and stuff but the server is down 99% for ever and the game has no offline play.

Don't forget to ask if any of them have heard of or seen Knightmare. I'm not sure, but Challenge? might even be international. Could someone please tell me if it definately is or not.

Try and get Km back on terrestrial telly - it's where it belongs. A late night slot would make for perfect post pub viewing.

Well, pointing out to them the fact that so many people have voiced their support is definitely a good idea. As we've said before, email spamming them the same things over and over might not do our cause much good.
