Pretty good fun! Looks nicer and is quicker than the old adventure game books (though they were fine)

There's a good chance this will have been in the forum before but I stumbled across it while wandering around the 'Vault' for NeverWinterNights. ('Forgotten Realms' based video game which uses large chunks of the Dungeons and Dragons mythos) http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Modules.Detail&id=3806 Simply put, it's a Knightmare module for the game! [EDIT] A couple mouse clicks later and This popped up as well... http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=Modules.Detail&id=26442&id=4037

Sorry Turaga - it keeps timing out before I can view your wallpaper. I'll try again later. I like the collage wallpaper Steve - it'd be nice to see specifically-themed wallpapers as well. You could choose one particular character image and then surround it with a collage of other pics of that character. Maybe I'll have a go at that one myself sometime.

After listening to the MySpace upload of 'Early Sheets' Ok... Howzabout a full quest highlights type of thing? Start off in a randoms kids home, telly blaring in the background with a football match or similar (Specifically NOT KM). 11 yr old comes barging in the front door at speed with schoolbag flailing dangerously. He crashes onto the sofa, flicks the channel to KM and gets dogs abuse from whoever was watching the TV as he came in. We then settle onto the screen itself as Treguard (There's yer cameo ) calls enter stranger and the team/band walk in. (The fact that the photo shows 4 people means a perfect team!) As this is happening, the music begins with that nice 8-bit synth and continues during the dungeoneer 'suit and boot'. The team enter the 'hall of choice', [Dungeoneer at the top of his voice] "Where am I?" [Advisor] "Your in a room..." , the lead guitar hits you and obliterates the rest of the room description. Follow this up with a few random bits and pieces from level 1 thru the 1st verse. simple things like a clue table, talking to a random character running like hell from a harmless enemy, perhaps some eye-shield. That kinda thing... Never more than a few seconds for each snippet. When the 1st chorus comes in (All 60's and dreamy to my ears), switch to Smirkenorff in flight. As graceful as you like swooping over the tree-tops. He lands and the team are into level 2 (Quite quickly, that chorus seems very short). Verse 2 kicks in and off we go again... This time around things are a bit more dangerous. Perhaps shots of the dungeoneer skipping across a causeway or dodging fireballs. Basically show the team doing well and possibly getting a bit cocky with some of the more dangerous hazards. (PLEASE for the CoB to be in there somewhere!) 2nd chorus but before the fade. I'd suggest putting them into the Minecart to level 3. They arrive but are only going to survive a single room (The song has reached approx the 'waterfalls' line in the 2nd chorus). For the death I'd suggest something VERY arbitrary considering how far they had got. Perhaps the notorius 'Sidestep left' incident . The team step on/off something and wipe out. [Treguard] ooooh Naaasty... The team are dismissed and we now see them on the early KM 'Sunset' handing each other the scrolls, waving to camera and walking off into the sunset as the Synth fades away. They got so near but were left so far... That sound viable? Sorry for going into geek mode for a few minutes . Listened to the track a couple times 'round while I've been typing this post and have been enjoying it quite a bit. Anyone else out there got ideas to share?

This is your only reasonable way of obtaining it for your own personal use. You almost make it sound like cannabis... tokes "Yeah, officer, I've got series 7 of Knightmare..." tokes "...only for my own personal use, you know..." tokes "...anyone got any Mini Cheddars?" Could be worse... you could have some hoodies hanging round street corners trying to sell it... "Yeah, mate. I've got some Knightmare, propa quality season 3 stuff too... got some Sattleite game if you want it... 'ere, it's the boys from Anglia - be cool, be cool..." Than again, from what I've been seeing here on the threads about eBay, it's not too far from the truth... >.>

It should just be a matter of creating an account for yourself on Interactive Knightmare, if you don't already have one there. Post again if you're still having difficulties. (And for those unsure of what the Lexicon is: http://ikm.ezri.mine.nu/index.php?page=lexicon )

http://www.maj.com/gallery/turaganuju/Avs/dungeoneer.png This CharSet can be used with RMK2000 and the like - only pay attention to the top-left character, the rest were on the CharSet I grafted onto. Its only simple, but it works. Watch out for my Knightmare RPG.........

Well, that's a bit different. Firstly, Live Aid is a charitable foundation, so rather than have unscrupulous characters make money out of it Geldof decided to put it out officially (which I believe wasn't his intention previously) to make sure that at least the money being spent would go towards the right cause. Also, Live Aid is more famous than Knightmare and has a bigger audience. Coupled with the charity issue, it's an entirely different beast, so comparisons aren't easily made here.

Hi, That's very strange. I assume you e-mailed me via the submission form on knightmare.com? For some reason I have not received an e-mail from you, but I will have a look to see if there's anything wrong with the facility. Did you remember to click on 'Continue' to confirm your details after you clicked 'Send E-mail'? Sorry about that, but I normally respond to every e-mail within a few days. Anyway, you can find a description of Knightmare on the Introduction page - feel free to copy as you wish. If anyone else can come up with a shorter description I'm sure they'll post here. Thanks.

Thanks for the reply! At the mo ive done 4 eps of Series 7 this is how i did it... Capture DVD Mpeg2 @ 720x576 Filter in Virtual Dub with temporal smoother (low) and static noise reduction. Cleaned up the pic a bit Filtered sound in cool edit pro - comes up nicely Re endode in TMPGenc to make roughly 1gb file These are coming out pretty good - the filters in virtual dub filter out some of the wavy lines, the sound is easy to fix. Its series 1 and 2 which are gonna be hard - the tapes on a standalone vcr or via the pc have flicking or bouncing from the top of the screen, which my tv/vcr combi seems to filter out some how. I think i need a time base corrector, but that costs £100+ so thats out of the question!
