The bits I saw I though were a bit of an imporvement because the team weren't as annoying as the last lot. I missed large chunks of it because I was getting the washing in (how exciting) but I'm still waiting for something amazing

I'm pretty sure the horn they've got is really a goblin horn, they blow it and Skarkill laughs claps 'em in irons and the backgorund goes all swirly and the die. remeber children, having the horn isn't good

Much more exciting episode apart from dragging old charcter out of the woodwork (motley and oakley) I was sure they didn't make another apperance after series 4?? Anyway, I really wish the teams wouldn't all shout at once. They need to choose someone to talk to the dungeoneer rather than they all shout and they get confused.

My brother taped it for and missed the first 10 minutes    it wasn't his fault though and the video is all jumpy and the sound is rubbish so I only caught bits of it. I agree with Grimaldine that it was slow again. In previous series the team seemed to have a few seconds it seem to do things, get things etc before something happened. Now either the teams have been deprived of all the E colourings and sugary drinks and seem really dosy and just chat for about 5 minutes deciding the most obvious things. With the sound off I was imagining what they were saying..

"Should we go right or walk off the ledge?"

"hmm, what d'you think? (to dungeoneer)"

"I dunno, ledge maybe"

"Hmm, (makes a note) I'd say....go....right I think"

"Are you sure?"

"actually...."

OK you get the idea, I always thought Knightmare was quick and puzzles had to be solved quickly. The whole idea of Treguard always going on about life force. This series is slow.

I did love Pickle's 'Bog off' comment, that made me laugh.

Em, hello.

I've been a fan of Knightmare for many years (I was 3 when I started watching I think) I was always scared of the Pookas for some reason so, Knightmare was responsible for my childhood Knightmares!  ;D

Anyway, I'm a student studying Herbal Medicine in Edinburgh. with a boyfriend and brother who are also big fans of Knightmare.

If I think of anything else I'll stick the info in my profile or waffle about it on the forum.

I thought they tried to bulk out the episode with fancy footage, the dragon intro seemed to take ages, I liked it of course but I was more interested in getting on with it!

There seemed to be a lot of explaining things (new series=new viewers I guess) but the team didn't appear to understand the game. OK there was new rooms and characters but they seemed to be in over their heads!

However, I thought Lord Fear is a better enemy and the questions etc were harder.

Series 5 was great (is great sorry) but I'm really impatient and want things to get going faster. Less talk more action I say!

As a former lurker I just have to say, Series 5 rocked more than I remember.  ;D

I really hope Challenge get Series 6 too!
