Series 2 for me will always be the highlight of Knightmare. We were teased with what to expect in the first series and I remember waiting with anticipation every week counting the days down until it started in the Autumn after it was previwed on CITV.

There were several features of season two that stood out, most noteably the sustained presence of Mogdred, Gretal (easily the best maid), the original wall monsters, Folly, Lillith and the Oracle of Confusion. Season two introduced a lot of characters and events that season three would use and hence there impact was diluted.

When you add in the first ever winning quest plus a second victory, both of which quest objects were never repeated (maid and tailsman) then personally season two just cannot be beaten.

I vividly recall going to school on Monday morning after Mark's winning quest and all everyone wanted to talk about was Knightmare.

Look the one true villan was Mogdred. Lord fear was just wasn't scary to the point that Aesandre and his other side kicks struck more terror into viewers that seeing old skull cap camping it up for the zillionith time.

I thought it was fairly obvious that they froze the shot of Martin on the stained glass window room as soon as Morghanna arrived hence he couldn't run away even if the team advised it.

Look if any uber villan was to return it would have to be Mogdred. Then it really would be a return to the classic Knightmare of old complete with evil laughs.

Lilith should be back as well.

I would be interested to know how many plus what type of rooms/paintings/graphics were never used in the entire series of Knightmare with examples and descriptions.

Also what sort of keepsakes and or membrobilia Tim Child has in his posession with reagards to the series.

I was just wondering what other people thought of deaths that incorporated a lack of an essential object due to no obvious error by a team.

The episode today had one such example with the team doing fairly well and even getting two riddles correct but unfortunatley for them choosing the gold proved unwise.

Basically their quest hinged on a 50-50 decision due to the amount of information recieved and I'm fairly sure that given past precedent of gold being helpful in previous quests most teams would have also picked this object.

Comparing level one of season three to basically any other especially season four which was shown recently really highlights how tough and at times unfair certain quests were what with several teams plodding forward due to blind luck and nothing more in later years.

I didn't really think Kelly's team deserved to be killed of so early and I'm sure in later series that would have easily got to level two as the quest would have altered to accomodate them.

Any other examples of early deaths in level one that seem unfair or unjust or an ooh nasty due to a 50-50 on an object?

Did they do away with clue rooms in level three after series three or was it four?

Also there seemed to be about three or four different people running about at the end of the cavern path leading to the Vale of Vanburn. One of which was Hordriss. Any explanations?

I was also going to mention this as the room that team came into is probably one of the hardest of all eight series and to come up against it on only the second screen of level of three seems slightly fishy.

Extra irregularaties for the appearance of Morganna or Malice or whatever she was called as they had met old Moggy on the bridge in level two and he explicitly said they would meet again. Seems rather strange to have two uber villans in one quest.  

Of all the teams that nearly made it through series three I would have liked this one to have got to the end in the slim hope of seeing an epic confrontation against Mogdred.

Lastly the team took absolutley ages to get moving in the room and only started shuffling forward at Treguard's insistence as the axe was nearly upon them.

I wouldn't mind asking Tim Child about this death. If it really was a mistake or it was forced?  :-X

PS Did the dungeoneer have a neck problem? As several times on camera he was slumped in very awkward positions.
