I've manage to do a similar one for a convention I go to in the UK "Amecon". Visit hereI'm still working on it but it takes a lot of patience to make all the right sprites to be animated. ^,^;

I have the The Games Factory myself! Its a nifty piece of programming, and tinkering with animations and time never ever cease the fun in creating a Knightmare Game... (Using counters was complicated but I realised it can evolve any game by ten times!) If we all put our heads together, share multimedia, images, sound clips etc. We can make the greater game possibly even better... Mind you, I'll get to work on it tonight! I'll post tomorrow when I have made any progress...

Hello Everyone. OK, those that don't know me, I'm Ali Everett (Sometimes known as Aldude), and I'm the guy who coded up "Knightmare: The Challenge" and wrote (and coded up) "Knightmare II: The Dark Talisman". I've received a number of emails recently asking me about the third knightmare game, which has been "in development" for 4 years now. Truth of the matter is: I haven't ACTUALLY worked on it since 2003. Reasons? University, Hobbies, getting fat, getting thin and back to university again. Now, yes, I did have LOTS of ideas for this new game, and they're mainly half-finished on paper. To be brutally honest, I cannot see them getting finished. I will be starting my PhD in september, and will definately not have time to do any creative on my own like that. However, I met with Forester last September, and we have a plan to create something special. However, it still takes time. To cut a long story short - what I had in mind 4 years ago, isn't going to happen. However, something else/similar MAY happen, so don't give up hope. Finally, would just like to say a thank you to all those that emailed me. It's nice to know some people still show an interest in Knightmare, and the things I coded all those years ago. Ali

Yeah, Bad Dreem's been around for about 18 months. I think you can download a WMV of it from the Infosite.

This does look quality If you need any beta testers to try out any of the levels then I'd love to do it Knice to see an actual tv knightmare brought to a game! With the editor being made should allow for a whole variety of quests! For game deaths how about having the wrong item in a clue room being part of the death. For example, drinking a potion actually causes them to explode or something. Could be a level 3 one where they need to select the right 2 potions. Taking the worng wrong means drinking to their death literally!

Gonna stick my oar in here because I can see a potential bitching-fest on the way. Other people ARE working on the rpg 6 footage. Just, in this case at least, on the soundtrack and not on the chromakey and video. I've been spending ages trying to remove Greater Manchester from the season 6 dungeon (You have may personal assurance that I HATE pelican Crossings...). Progress sadly has been hellishly slow. I'll pass something on once I have something of a good enough standard not to make a prat of myself...

An Idea that me and Bexmagic had in a MSN Conversation and both thought might produce some intresting results. So basicaly create your own Chracter for the KM Dungeon realm, Give a basic pysical discription, Is it Human or one of the other races of the Knightmare world (eg. Winterian, Atlantian or a complelty new one) Is it some other kind of creature, oger, troll or some other. The Highet of the character & if you want there waight to and were do there loyaltlys lay The Powers That Be, The Opposition or is it someone of The Grey. and then for the realy creative out there you can also think up a short backstory for your character as well. Me and Bex will be contributing to this thread as well and we look forward to seeing what you guys and Girls also come up with. Happy Creating.

I would try breathing life into my characters their but one I find awkward to roleplay as, and the other I believe is in one of the shops.

Heh. I promise not to disappoint him. Its gonna be a long time coming though. And if a thing like this is worth doing, its worth doing right. I'll post some of my script when I get a moment, show you the level of detail I'm gonna be going into. It'll be in the Knightmare - The New Age topic (the working title).

Aw, thanks guys! I'm working on a few other sketchbook projects at the moment but I will probably return to Knightmare in the future -perhaps a few sketches of the funniest deaths or best winning moments..... or maybe just drawing a character in full-body form? I like drawing Motley.
