Anyway is there any updates with regards to a Knightmare Convention? I believe there a lot of likes on Facebook so it seems it would be popular and would attract a decent amount of people! heh. I need to be careful what I say here, because I don't want to let people down if everything collapses. At the moment, we are proceeding cautiously. We think there are (just about) enough people, we have a few ideas for venues and some guests have confirmed an interest in attending. The next step is to get a better idea of costs. From there we can work out what we can/cannot afford to do and make bookings.

Yeah, I had my 30th in July... way too old for Blackpool stuff, might get away with it in my mid 20s but not anymore. 30 was pretty much the general age of those attending at the weekend. I am pretty sure most can muster enough inner youth to have a fair time in Blackpool.

An inappropriate period of time has passed since the last all-community meet up. It's time to fix that. After discussing things with a good number of you, the general consensus seemed to be that Blackpool offered the right combination of cheapness, location, and things to do that would appeal to the most people. Therefore, we propose going with this. The plan would be to arrive on a Friday and leave on a Sunday, although people would of course be free to come and go as they please. Assuming that a sufficient number of people would be interested in attending, I can look into the costs of staying. I would suggest that it's in the region of £20-£25 each per night, so perhaps something like £50? If you're interested, either post here and indicate your preference on the facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/events/557271014304909/permalink/557272270971450/?notif_t=like

Brett writes: So it's now February 2013 and I have come to the conclusion that there isn't sufficient appetite for going to the effort of organising a reunion of our team, at least not at the moment. I hope, in what I have contributed over recent weeks, that the most interesting, important, even intriguing aspects of our quest have been covered sufficiently. I'm not sure that a separate Q&A section is necessary, as one forum member suggested. I suspect they will find most of the answers if they read this thread and related episode threads carefully. Also, for the record I'd like to point out that a stream of comments about the team previous to us - being Series 4 Team 7 - have been mingled with comments about our team on this thread. Thank you and best wishes, Brett

Not sure if anyone's seen the post in question, but Matt has suggested some possible venues for KM-related meets for later on this year. I've decided to put a mention in this relevant section in the hope that it may generate a better response and see if other people would be willing to get involved.

Obviously not for me. I still have to wait a month in order to get into a pub with an adult.

There's the possibility of some of us going to the London Film and Comic Con in Earl's Court on Saturday July 9th - link to the convention's website here: http://www.londonfilmandcomiccon.com/ Will confirm full details as soon as I can, though people can feel free to reply to this or PM me if they wish.

Well, it's been a week or so since this poll ended. Not many votes, but it seems fairly clear.

If only I had not accepted a match ticket to see Brighton win and go six clear at top. Sorry guys, hope it was still fun. Financial constraints stopped me going at last minute. No worries. Would definitely go back to Tulley's Farm next year, hopefully you can make it too - alongside perhaps even more Knightmare people....

There is, of course, also the option of flying (1 hour) or getting the train (4 hours from London) A few people have said it's very far. I can't say I'm all that convinced

Incidentally, every single option in that list was wrong. It was obviously trifle.

Yes, people are still going (though I am not one of them, as I'll be in Italy at the time). Best contact Jace, Anna or Andrew to meet up with others.

Initial plans are being made for a KM trip to Wales. The potential date is 25th August 07. Currently being examined is the possibility of staying in either YHA accomodation or at a static caravan park. It would be for 5 nights and at an estimated cost of £17.50 per night. The plan is to tour around Wales visiting various historic places and castles so it's an ideal treat for any History buffs or fans of Knightmare style architecture. At the moment all that's being asked for is a show of hands of who is interested on going on this trip, there's no obligation yet. So please e-mail if you'd like to go or want more details. Please check your availability first before getting in touch though. This trip is open to all Knightmare Fans and their Friends & Family. E-Mail: forester@remove-this-bit.knightmare.org.uk
