    I've just been watching a fourth episode of Chevalier that was uploaded by an advisor 6 years ago (so maybe others have seen it already). What on EARTH is going on in the antechamber at the start, with the Master randomly rubbing a hunchback's head while a topless guy stands nearby flexing his muscles for no apparent reason?! I had no idea French people say "Stop" in English! (If they did it in the earlier episodes then I didn't notice.) Ooooooo, interesting to see them use the swinging axe room that only ever appeared in the end credits of Knightmare (albeit with a different path underneath). What's with the single brief shot of a Crystal Maze-style map of the dungeon at one point?! Questions about Donald Duck and his nephews, and other modern films, still feel very out of place in the medieval fantasy setting! It is fun to watch these, though it's often hard to follow what they're saying (and the auto-generated subtitles tend to make it even more confusing).

    Another new Series 1 episode has been added. Slightly bizarre incident in the throne room - nobody ever told them that the only way is onwards, there is no turning back!!

    ...A 30 minute pilot for the US market, entitled Lords of the Game. All the cast were used except Hugo who was replaced by an American actor. Nearly a week after seeing Lords of the Game, I am still having American Dungeon Master moments. "Darn you, Veerash, you rootin' tootin' son-of-a-witch! We're wagin' us a war on your terror. We're comin' over there and we're gonna kick your ass!" "My 'ass'? I don't keep donkeys anymore. The goblins kept asking to ride them by the sewers and I ran out of ice cream. What I do have, me old mucker, is an arse - and a fine one at that. When you've got a KISS spell, call me." You know what would improve the US DM though? Sam Beckett from Quantum Leap leaping into him. I'm just saying.

    I've been re-watching The State Within this evening, and it occurred to me. Would Jason Isaacs make a good Treguard? http://www.bbc.co.uk/drama/thestatewithin/ Look at the eyes. Different colour to Hugo's I know, but very similar shape! And the dancing eyebrows too.

    Ct? Whatever next? Ck? PS Original email should have said episode and not series. You'd have to be a pretty keen KM fan to watch a whole series if you didn't understand the language. French I'm fine with but German - wo wo wo, can't do that.
