Who should be the dungeon master/lady

Lord Fear giving the challenge may be intersting. definatly a twist in it. I Hugo could not then Hordriss would be a great person to do the job instead.

If Hugo Myatt couldn't be persuaded, I'd like Barry to do it. It has to be someone who has in some way 'mastered' the dungeon. Lord Fear's just too good as a bad guy to become ambiguous and Hordriss is a bit straight-laced.

Treyguard has allways been a favoret of mine, but if he had an assitant in a new series I would like to see Pickle with him like in the old series.

He was no spring chicken when he was doing the originals, how old is he now? Is he still with us? How long is his beard.

I'd also advise you to remove the image from your sig before admin (illusion) does. He and especially some others (mainly on dial-up are not too keen on images in sigs. He also also said yeasterday about not posting images in messages just links to them. Just a little advice. Anyway somehow I don't think Treguard would look like that in the knew Knightmare VR. I don't think he'd be too flattered with your pic either. The proof is that he appeared earlier on TV this year as Treguard. Also I wonder how many oldies 55+ (no offence intended) visit this forum or even watch KM?

Mind you on some recent pics, Hugo seems to look younger now than when he was Treguard. Also to me the earlier Treguard looked somewhat older than the latter Treguard. Must be the beard!

If he is only 59 then no harm in him still doing it i think!

But if his heart is in it and he definatly wants to then fantastic. The purpose of this thread was to think of alternatives IN CASE Hugo can not do it.m Though i still hope he definalty wil. But not a VR of hi,m. The point of the ante chamber was its last "real world" dungeoneer sees before the dungeon. Having a VR Treguard and dungeon just misses the point of the game.

After all its only a game.. isnt it?

The bit you say about the antechamber is absolutely spot on, Dazza. It's the interface point between reality and fantasy, and therefore should be real world.

Indeed, that's what I've said all along. If the antechamber is also VR then the distinction between the fantasy of the Dungeon and the reality outside is muddied.

Hugo Myatt should still be the Dungeon Master, because he's been in the role for all 8 series. It'd be a pity if he wasn't chosen to do it again.
