I have found DVD's of knighmare in Germany

I beleive these possibly to be illegal copies, but still bought the whole boxset of all series! Could someone confirm if these are official ( the cover is lord fear with Knightmare written above him).

Yes, they're 100% illegal, and the picture/sound quality will most likely be rubbish, so I'm afraid you may have wasted your money!

Well, we've been through this time and time again about the fact that their has never been any official VHS/DVDs released. Any DVD/videos of KM you do find or here about are illegal and possesion of them could land you in trouble. So steer clear of them.

Granted a series was made for the German market but Knightmare disappeared as quickly as it appeared over there. The German market for UK Knightmare would be too small to justify the risks of pirating the program!

The whole thing doesn't make sense...

I wouldn't put too much creedence in anything barry_knightmare1 has said. In the short time he was here, not many of his posts were entirely serious (and some of them were just plain offensive).

In fact it didn't even get that far. There were negotiations over a German series, but they fell through before it got commissioned. Which is infuriating for British fans because apparently the funds Broadsword would've received from that would've allowed Knightmare to carry on running another couple of years.

if only they will do a whole dvd box set of knightmare though, i cant record every episode as already missed a few to record, s will just have to watch them on Challenge. nothing wrong in that though. To me it seems sticking it on everyday helps in the excitement in some way, like when Millionaire was on every day for bout a week.
