Welcome to the second game of Knightmare Pointless! We asked all our Knightmare-related questions to 8 people, and now it's up to our four fabulous contestants - Rosey, Annie, Amy and Ben - to find the most obscure answers they can think of. One of them will earn the chance to find a Pointless answer in the jackpot final.
A couple of important points to bear in mind:

For the purposes of this, "character" means any role that's been confirmed as having been played by a credited Knightmare actor, except uncredited, unnamed individual creatures/monsters.

The unbroadcast pilot episodes (from 1986/7) and Knightmare VR (from 2004) are not taken into account for any question.

ROUND 1
In the first round, each of you will give me two answers. Whoever has the highest score at the end of the round will be eliminated. If you give a wrong answer, you will score the maximum of 8 points.
We gave 8 people 100 seconds to name...
UNUSED SPELLS
So that's any spell that was ever in a team's itinerary but was not cast. This could be because the dungeoneer died or the series ended (or both) before the team had got round to casting the spell, or because the spell was abandoned on the advice of a character.
Please note - the team must have been in a position to cast the spell, i.e. they must have "had" it, or at least had the opportunity to actually cast it. Any incomplete spells being collected or possible spells being offered for sale will not count. In other words, if you go for a spell that a team was offered a chance to buy or collect which they rejected or fluffed, your answer will be wrong.
Please also note - some of the correct answers on this list are spells that were actually cast at some point, but they were unused for a particular team. For example, if two teams earned a spell called FLAME and one of them cast it but the other one didn't, FLAME would be a correct answer, as it was unused for at least one team!
Please ALSO also note - spells that were cast fully but did not activate properly because they were cast in the wrong place do NOT count as uncast spells for this question.
Rosey gets to go first - which is not necessarily an advantage, of course - and we'll find out her answer very soon I'm sure!

Sarah and friends (Team 3 of Series 5) had a GHOST spell when they died. Would it have had the same effect as Martin's GHOST spell in Series 3? I guess we'll never know for sure! Rosey scores 1 point.

Hearty congratulations, Annie - a pointless answer! You are 100% right - in the boat in the Sewers of Goth, Grimaldine gave this spell to Simon's team (the first of Series 7) with the words, "It cannot help you succeed, but it may help you home." Simon then went on to die at Play Your Cards Right, but we saw the effect of this spell later in the same series, when it was cast by Julie's winning team. So, Annie scores no points, and no one can do better than that in this game!

It's another Mogdred spell, this time gifted to Stuart's team from Series 2. Again, the team wisely chose not to use Mogdred's magic, even when they had no other option. Ben scores 3 points, bringing his total to 5. Will this be enough to make it through to the second round? Only time will tell!

This spell was awarded to Alistair (Team 2 of Series 4) by Malice and would apparently have summoned someone "long dead" to aid him in the deepest depths of the third level - intriguing!

Congratulations, Annie - SHIELD scores you 1 point and brings your total to 1, seeing you safely through to the next round. This time, however, I can't tell you that you're exactly right - it was Series 1, not Series 2... but other than that, spot on! Merlin awarded SHIELD to Richard's team (the last of the series) but they never got an opportunity to use it... or not one that we were allowed to see, anyway!
