Have just watched all the parodies and have to say I enjoyed Bad Dreem the most! But I still enjoyed the new one and hope more will be made!

I thought this new one was very well done. Cracked up at the advisors introducing themselves, just like the real thing with missed cues and general awkwardness. And the classic "walking towards the camera" shot taken to its logical conclusion, haha! Also loved the attention to detail with props etc. My favourite parody so far, I think.

This emulated the tone of the earlier series with an accuracy that bordered on the terrifying.

        Also, I lol'd.

I assume you're talking about this? My girlfriend linked me to it just now.

Yeah, it's funny. Treguard is very well-realised too. I still prefer Bad Dreem, but did laugh out loud at this.

Over 9000 views already?! That was quick, well done!

Make that 12000 views, approaching 13... and is that the ACTUAL Tim Child who's left a comment?!

Might be Tim, although it's from an account that was set up only yesterday, and is only subscribed to Owyn & Co's channel. (Why has he not subbed to Mark Knight's - https://www.youtube.com/user/markbknight - for instance?) I tend to be skeptical of those, and given Tim has more or less disappeared from view completely over the last four years, it kind of goes against the grain that he'd suddenly re-appear just to comment on a YouTube vid.

On the other hand, it sounds like the sort of comment he would genuinely leave, and he might have come across the parody via the Guardian like many people have (maybe not a regular YouTube visitor). It's impossible to verify, but I'm inclined to believe it's him... would someone bother setting up a fake account just to say that?

Hi, Owyn (and any of the Co who may be reading), and a belated welcome to the forum. Congratulations on your success with this, not least getting Hugo Myatt's approval as well as that of one or two others from Knightmare. Your dedicated tweeting seemed to pay off in shovels - or spades: there are subtle differences apparently - though the quality of the sketch speaks for itself. One of the many details that stand out is the replica "Helmet of Honour": particularly authentic and a worthwhile investment for future instalments.

From what Tim said in the documentary, I think it's safe to assume it was really him that commented!

I have written a script for my own parody which I intended to shoot and edit sometime in the new year, I had seen Bad Dream a few years ago, which I thought was hilarious, but I’ve just been made aware of these parodies, I will have to check them out when I get home from work to make sure that mine is still worth doing. The script I’ve written is a comedy called Frightmare and is very much what Knightmare would be like if it was a game for adults, as opposed to children.

Also, any tips for making a decent helmet of justice?

Owyn & Co came "a very close second" in the video awards!

A very good showing seeing as the 'Thank You Hater' video did far more rounds of the internet than the Knightmare parody did. Great stuff and well done to Owyn & Co for a great video and spreading the gospel.
