Hi guys,
I just thought I'd explain about the past few months as I've hardly posted but this should show why.
Dad collapsed in early March and nearly bled to death internally. We were told it was liver cancer and he recovered to an extent but couldn't lift anything so we were helping him with shopping etc.
He was recommended an op so we all thought he had better go for it and the consultant was very optimistic. Dad did not look or act 75 and seemed fit an well. So they took that as read and didn't do the required checks in the pre op, thinking he'd manage the surgery just fine. He didn't and bled again, fought 10 days in ICU but passed 30th July. To say we're all heartbroken is an understatement.
But I apologize for messing you guys about, dad would have wanted me to keep going, it just feels too much to travel and I hope you all have a fun and successful trip. I hadn't been concentrating on this since March in any case but I'm sorry I've pulled out at sort of last moment. It's taken me this long to post as I have been so up and down all year.
There is going to be an inquest so that's another joy for the autumn but just so you guys know, I didn't take the decision lightly, I've got bipolar disorder and don't want to say I'll be there, then change my mind 5 minutes before the train leaves.

Just having another look at these before tomorrow, and I’m fine with all of them except playing the Dungeonaut in The Winning Quest - I’d rather be one of the advisors for that if it’s not too late to reshuffle, which could help Forester as somehow he seems to be both Advisor 1 and 3 in that, unless I’m missing some planned CGI trickery!

So, I didn't want to just start a new topic for this, but after a couple of not so fun incidents on the train home yesterday (I am all good, don't worry!), I wanna say thank you for a great weekend. As Forester can probably tell you, my mental health has not been the greatest as of late, and you all really helped in making this weekend amazing.
If you ever need any more people for filming, and I can get there, absolutely count me in!

Aaaah, there were so many good ones. "Bing Bang Bollocks", "only a game?!/well, isn't it?", and "my card was stolen...by a dick".

My favourite line is probably Barry the Lobster who is a bit of a cunt.
Stolen…. By a dick: This improvisation has fascinated me. We filmed credit check in series 1 and had to abandon the footage for various reasons. It therefore never occurred to me to add this line until we came to film it a second time. What I am find interesting is that on paper it doesn’t look funny. But I found it funny at the time. After all, it took several takes to get the line out.
