It's just a shame that Colin never got a proper send-off, the BBC fired him and then wanted him to come back for one story just to regenerate. You can understand why he refused!

    "SPOILER ALERT"

If you're a Whovian, then you probably already know this! Last year Big Finish Productions released a special box-set of audio dramas called Doctor Who: The Last Adventure, it may have took nearly 30 years, but Colin Baker finally got his regeneration scene and it gives The Sixth Doctor a fitting send-off.

The other day I came across this brilliant video from YouTuber Imagine that no door, they created a superb animation sequence to go with the above mentioned regeneration. Enjoy!

I remember watching the series in the 1980s and Colin Baker was probably the first Doctor that was I was properly introduced to. Peter Davison I think was the one directly after but he only lasted a season or two. Unfortunately by the time of Sylvester McCoy at the end of the decade I had lost a lot of interest and never really tuned in again up until the present day.

They had the repeats on the Horror Channel recently with all the aforementioned names but while it was nice to recall past experiences, the level of enthusiasm just wasn't the same as before. Sorry !

Colin Baker was after Peter Davison. Tom Baker was the one immediately before.

        Interesting useless stat; -

As many actors to play the Doctor on TV have had the same surname as have had the same forename i.e. two Doctors called Baker, and two Doctors called Peter. (No, John Hurt doesn't count, because Jon Pertwee dropped the H from his forename.)

I feel like A LOT of Colin's TV serials were kind of shafted by dodgy writing.... and Bonnie Langford for some of Trial. (I like Bonnie... but wow, some of her screams are so aggrivating I find it hard to give a damn).
