I managed to get hold of the Knightmare boardgame off ebay the other day - and was just wondering if anyone else has this and what their opinions are!
I've read the review on the site - but it'd be cool to know a little about the game mechanics! Does it pull off a mini-knightmare, or is it a random game with the knightmare logo stuck on the front?
Also, slightly off topic has anyone tried to devise a pen and paper based d20 Knightmare RPG? I'm on the brink of starting work on one, but was just wondering if the community has beat me to it?

I for one would love to see this footage - and I agree that vhs/dvd by mail is the way to go! Perhaps hosting it as xvid too for the people who are too impatient to wait for it to arrive! And for the people with no dvd player and/or no broadband - how about putting the xvid on a cd for them - that way everyone has about 3 different ways of being able to access the footage!
And goodies from the powers that be? we're not worthty
All we need now are regional testings of the demo - in say.. um.. Crewe cough
Hey, I am still traumatised from never getting on the show - most probably due to the very itsy-tiny problem of never applying! Think i'd pass for 14 on the new show?
6 foot kid with long hair and a beard? Well if that fails I can audition for a 20yr old treguard
Biggles,
I like the sound of your idea - while on one hand we'll (maybe) have the ultimate daddy of cgi dungeon crawling goodness who knows where it could end up?
Do we even know that the final version of KMVR will be exactly like the simulator? As a tech demo isnt it's goal just to sell the idea - a bit like the tests done for the original series back in the mists of time? and we all know how things changed from series 1 to 8!
Personally i'd love to see humans in this cgi world - it'd feel much more interactive or perhaps even a mixture of the two - cgi for monsters etc - then the human actors superimposed just like they where back in the 80's!
And hopefully the idea sparks a few more ideas in the money hungry media world and many variations are spawned like the dreaded "reality tv" shows that have plagued us for the last few years!
I for one will be excitedly waiting to see what the Televirtual demo spawns!

Hi all!
After wandering through wilderness and increasingly complex puzzles and mazes (Not to mention the deadly "corridor of bandwidth") I finally tracked my way here, and not even a nackered old chalice to show for myself!
Well... thats nearly true... closer to the truth would be that 10 years of missing Knightmare led me to a craving of it over the last few weeks - and then found the magic of challange tv (which must be stuck in a temporal disruption surely?) and then finally crawled on here! And so ended up living on this site ever since - so thought I may as well sign up for the forum and say hello!
So, hope there's room in the castle for one more!
Right, im off to build my own bluescreen dungeon out of cardboard and superglue - all powered by an oric-1 microcomputer "ohhhh..... nasty"
