My sister told me to step on the sword because she really couldn't SEE the other hexagon because where I was standing I was blocking it, and she couldn't tell what it was. She thought it might be like a Frightknight's helmet or something, whereas she figured you can defend yourself with a sword! So that was why.

For my death, I stood in the blue room, someone said one, two, three, and I just had to put both arms in the air and lean to one side! Very exciting!

Oh and I didn't put the spyglass down because I wasn't holding it! Julius Scaramonger was because my hands were full!

Oh, I lied, I've just remembered we were also given a t-shirt, and we had our photo taken with Pickle and Treguard which we could then get them to sign for us, along with other cast members. They also gave us a tour of the whole studio after we'd finished filming, which was cool.

In answer to some of the questions...

Being the dungeoneer was just the most bizarre thing, and to be honest most of the time I did not have a CLUE what was going on! Try to imagine what it is like, walking round a completely blue room, where you can't see anything except your feet, and meeting characters you can't see, many of whom were new to series 5 so you didn't know if you could trust them or not. My biggest problem was understanding what a lot of the characters said because of the way they talked! I did not understand a WORD that Pixel said to me... hence me saying completely the wrong thing to her and being called stupid! When Brother Mace asked me if I was trying to get to Level 2, it sounded to me like "eleven two", which was why I asked the team what I should say... I mean obviously if I'd heard properly I would have just said yes! And the worst was Lord Fear... I didn't hold the eyeglass, Julius Scaramonger did, and all I suddenly got was a strange voice talking in my ear, again most of which was unclear!

So in conclusion, when you're watching teams, and you think they say the most stupid things, just consider the fact that they may also have encountered some of these problems!

And finally, everyone received a scroll for being on Knightmare, which doesn't seem like much, but the whole experience of filming and being treated like stars, was just so fab it didn't matter at all!

Yeah hi, I'm here! (Jenna - dungeoneer of current team!)

Please don't be so mean !  ;D After all, I was only just 12 years old at the time... plus, you'll notice that one of my team mates does not say a SINGLE word the whole time, and the other was not very helpful either. My sister may aswell as have been guiding me on her own!

Also it was completely surreal doing the filming and extremely disjointed as you only filmed one scene at a time, and then had an hour or more break while they set up the next, which meant you never really get into the flow of it.

And if you think we're hopeless, just bear in mind that out of 20 000 applications, our team was just one of a handful chosen to be on the series, so there!  ;D

Yes, pauses definitely do get edited out! For example, we had a scene in our adventure with Julius Scaramonger, where we were supposed to be giving him gold in enchange for aniseed. But I didn't know if I could trust him to give it to me, so every time he went to take the gold I pulled my hand back... until he said "are we doin' the 'okey cokey 'ere or what?"! They edited the scene so it looked like we decided to do the exchange, and then just did it!

I think that was probably about as challenging as the questions on Knightmare  ;D

I probably will be back from time to time... being on Knightmare is still the best experience of my life so far, despite our appallingly short adventure. I just have to say, it's much, MUCH harder when you're actually doing it, then when you are watching at home!

Thought I'd add to this thread... my sister and I were on a team together, and we're related obviously  ;D  Team 5, series 5.

I was dungeoneer, she was team captain. Did it help us being related? Um, not really! Took me a long time to forgive her for getting me killed!    ;D

Hi! I'd like to say I'm well pleased they've decided to show Series 5, as I was on it! I won't say which team I was, as it was very embarrassing, except to say I come from Exeter, and I wasn't on the winning team
