How did it go? Sorry I wasn't there, but the cost was prohibitive in the end How many turned up, and did you get the (real) Lord Fear all the way from America?

Meetup: Weekend of 28 Feb 2015 in York@Mashibinbin I like in Birkenhead - if you're going by car, can I get a lift there and back with you? Then I only have to pay for the hotel (the trains are super-expensive)

ThanksI'm glad I seem to have made a good impression on most people! I got very drunk the first night after watching KM Live (which was really good) but got back to the hotel, then a furious hangover on Saturday which followed through into Sunday
The main convention was great - talking to the actors (who were surprisingly friendly and approachable), seeing the American pilot / extended Geek Week ep / David Rowe art / panels / playing the room of the dungeon. These were all amazing.
Lord Fear's Midnight Hunt was great, I regret not buying a ticket for it but enjoyed spectating regardless and hope I stayed out of the way of the camera, lol
Anyway, thanks to the organisers of the convention and all involved - it was a great weekend! I wish I could have stayed for the Sunday, bu added costs were prohibitive

Meeting other KM fans at the conventionI might not be able to make it in time: my train pulls into Norwich at 17:24. The hotel is very close however. I want to do check-in before going to KM Live If I do arrive, it'll be at like 18:30 or something.

Car Pool? The train I'm getting is from Chester, then through to London, then to Norwich (I think). That's what redspottedhanky suggested anyway I didn't even know trains went to London from Chester. Also: you got trains that went straight to Norwich? I have to change a ridiculous amount of times at different stations, I think. Here's my itinerary:
Journey: 1 Green Lane to Norwich
Ticket type: Advance Valid only on your chosen service. Not refundable. Changeable prior to date of travel for a fee.
Route: Virgin West Coast & connections
Outward journey: 9 May 2014

departs London Liverpool Street at 15:30 travel by Train service provider Greater Anglia to station Norwich arrives 17:24 ( seats reserved: Coach: C Seats: 61 )
Ticket type: 1st Advance Valid only on your chosen service. Not refundable. Changeable prior to date of travel for a fee.
Route: Virgin West Coast & connections
Return journey: 11 May 2014

Car Pool?I would have taken you up on this offer maybe (I live in Birkenhead) but I already have expensive non-refundable trains booked! I'm also going to Knightmare Live on the Friday.
-
Knightmare Convention: travel and hotel bookingsI also decided to see Knightmare Live on the Friday. So that's an extra night in the hotel. Oh well
-
Knightmare Convention: travel and hotel bookingsI booked my hotel room and train journey already - I recommend everyone else to do it as soon as possible. But I'm caressing my poor, poor wallet

The new KM episode is up!The additional stuff shot after the dungeoneer's death is likely to be future rooms (unexplored), and scenes from Lord Fear through the spyglass That's just my guess.

The new KM episode is up!How about someone remixes the episode to add all the correct Knightmare things, and get rid of some stupid parts of the opening? Also put the full ending music on, proper lifeforce, etc. That'd be very doable.
