I don't know if it's just me or this seem's to be one of the intrinsic elements of Knightmare.

Typical cringe moments:

The advisors get over excited/start arguing.

The dungeoneer nevously trys to interact with a character.

The actor ignores/trys to interact with something the player just said.

The advisors descibe something in more detail than is really necessary.

The team misunderstands something and Treguard/Pickle/Mageta has to set them straight (When I say run - your looking through the eyeshield. . .)

What moments make you cringe?

Cruel Parents call child "Dicken Hairs" but spell it "Dicken Hess"!

Just had to mention this seeing as this quest has just started on Challenge.  ;D

Watch out for pickle saying "Dickens got the horn!" (Did that make it to air?)

The Knightmare VR development site shows a picture of a digital Treguard.

I assume this means he must have come in to do the 3D scanning thingy(?) and hopefully he will be doing the voice over for the treguard character too, cool!

Wouldn't it be cool1 if you could make a room in your house look like Knightmare Castle?

You know, have the fake castle masonry up the walls, install a widescreen "magic mirror", put in a few candelabras etc...

Then of course the logical next step would be to get the studded leather jacket made up or the fake elf ears if you're so inclined.

On second thought, this may lead to problems when you're showing visitors around or you may get funny looks when you ask your partner to start calling you dungeon master...

Ahh well, theres always the possibility of a Knightmare convention I suppose.

If you're recording the current series of Knightmare on Challenge then you might like to know that the 12:30PM doesn't have the voice over guy on the end credits llike in the 6PM showing.

Of course that will only bother you if you're a perfectionist.

Its just a shame about having the Challenge TV logo on the top of the screen.>:(

I don't remember the team's name's but they had to get past the ogre to go down the well to the next level.

They were supposed to take the gold bar to give to him but only had bull's horn (musical instrument).

It was touch and go for a while, "I will bip you and I will bop you!", but they managed to convince him that this was a worthwhile item to have (a drinking horn perhaps? But there's a hole in the end!).

I don't think this was the only time a team succesfully managed to talk there way around a baddie without the right item but it's the one I remember.

Challenge started showing Series 3 at the beginning of the year and then after repeating most of Series 3 again, they started showing Series 4 in June.

They then repeated Series 3 again and it will end again tonight(3/7/03) but according to the challenge schedules, the daily episodes are continuing so it looks like they will be showing Series 4 again starting from tomorrow(4/7/03) so get that tape ready tomorrow if you want to record Series 4 from the start at either 6PM or 12.30PM(Midnight)

The writers of Knightmare weren't afraid of "borrowing" certain phrases from Shakespeare himself and I'm glad they did it.

The most famous one I can think of is from the witches in macbeth:

"Fair is foul, and foul is fair:"

Caught last nights episode on challenge TV, Probably what inspired me to join this forum. I always watched Knightmare as a kid and its a great nostalgia trip seeing it again.

I don't remember the names of the players but wasn't the dungeoneer getting annoyed with his advisors!? He had a point though, they were whispering so he couldn't hear what they were saying!

They got quite far though, but didn't get the all important dragon magic though.

The new team however, didn't they win? I feel like I've seen them before. Thanks to Challenge TV's constant repeats. BTW, apart from Knightmare, Challenge TV is the biggest pile of... you know what I mean.

Hmm, may start taping the episodes again, how geeky is that!  When does the next series actually start so i can tape them in the right order? How geeky is that!!!

Easter eggs are often hidden in the garden for children to find at easter. This is a more common tradition in america though.

Knightmare sometimes had puzzles for viewers, like finding the letters to spell a word, you would send in the answer and maybe win some prize if yours was the first to be drawn from the postbag. Can't remember any specific examples though.

The players didn't seem to see these special letters though, I assume they were put on afterwards.
