The Big Issue is up and running once again thanks to Temporal Discussion (https://knightmare.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=57929#p57929) Series 5 Episode 6, which stars Martin Harder, Paul McIntosh and Jake Collins. Who would have antagonised Sarah (Team 3) on level 3? Lord Fear, Aesandre or no one! Listen to the (bumper) episode at http://knightmarepod.co.uk/temporal-discussion-s05e06-sarah-and-the-saw and then cast your vote at http://poll-maker.com/poll5428061x8e1Cb557-161

Webs have delayed the shut down until 30th June 2021, and so the website will continue to be live until then. I don't know if Jake is planning on making a new website, but in any case the issues can be downloaded at https://www.knightmare.com/fanzone/magazines/eyeshield/.

Aha - nearly slipped through the net, then! I just happened to notice there wasn't a Lexicon entry about them, and I was thinking about writing one, but then it occurred to me that all the monster entries were normally crossposted from TES so it might have been done already. Glad I mentioned it now - I shall leave it in your highly capable hands!

Hi Jake. You have my sincerest condolences for your loss. I have just read Issue 69 (I was away this week-end, so couldn't get near a computer until today), and I enjoyed it as much as I have enjoyed all the issues I have read. Even though I didn't discover TES until fairly late on, I'm glad I found it in time to fully appreciate it and even contribute to it. Many thanks for all your hard work, and once again, my deepest sympathies for your loss.

It's okay, you don't need to prove it. I was watching Series 6 through last week and I got the distinct feeling that I'd made a mistake! Never mind though, Corfe Castle is still a very nice castle to have a picture of.

From Canadanne: Just been enjoying the latest Eye Shield and thought I would respond to Remember Him? I'm amazed that so many people hate Snapper-Jack. I think he's my favourite character after Lord Fear and Treguard! The return of proper riddles was great to see, and I find his voice and performance hilarious. I wish we could have seen more of him. I wonder what the general feeling is towards Snapper-Jack nowadays...

Sorry, I missed your post amongst all the apres-TES discussion, but yes I do remember you saying you have three more potential rounds of QI. I don't want to host any more QI in TES, but if you run the competition on the forum (in the same way Martin did with the first ever round) I will definitely enter as many rounds as you care to put up - I've only ever been able to enter two rounds myself, and I'd like another go.

Hi James I am very, very pleased that you have been enjoying my Classic Quest articles. You can rest assured that all eight of the remaining quests will be reviewed during the final six issues of The Eye Shield. As you care enough not only to know how many quests are left, but also which ones they are, you definitely deserve to be told that Issues 69 and 70 will feature two Classic Quests each, so don't worry - you'll be able to read about every single quest (as well as every single character, creature, puzzle, book and anything else Knightmare-related you can think of) in the relevant sections when The Eye Shield finally draws to a close.

What action have these four people all performed onscreen? MILDREAD, HEGGATTY, PEGGATTY, CHRIS IV. Which is the first dungeoneer that can be seen climbing into a wellway? How many episodes feature two separate quests starting from the antechamber? Which is the first dungeoneer to speak to Smirkenorff? During which scene can you see the effects of Hordriss’s magic being undone by Merlin’s magic? In which episode is the phrase “Condition Amber” first mentioned with reference to the life force clock? During which series is the phrase “the Opposition” first used? The Adventurers’ Code stipulates that, unlike normal clue objects, “magical objects” can be carried on different levels, but which is the one and only object that ends up being carried through multiple levels under this rule? How many dungeoneers summoned Hordriss with his calling name, Malefact, or at least a pretty close approximation of it? During the course of which episode do we learn that Smirkenorff can speak?

Richard's team definitely did the right thing following the Chalice; Mogdred would have killed them mercilessly if they'd taken the other door. In that case, it is a real shame that they did not go through the door. The scene that would have followed would perhaps have challenged his Series 4 appearance with Team 1 as his greatest moment. And it would have been quite a debut, too. The teams cannot exit via the steps because the blue stairs prop hasn't been brought into the blue room, so they would seem to walk through the steps and wouldn't be able to reach the door if they tried it! I'll be honest - I never would have thought of that in a million years. I guess I need to think outside the box more.
