Uhm, I don't think Neil was being particularly impolite here - you made, essentially, a speech, outlining the views on the subject, which begged for an answer to it. Neil's answer was a short, jocular remark. It may not exactly have been what you wanted, but I don't think we can really class it as rude.

Hi guys. I've got some good news and some bad news. The bad news is I've been hit with writer's block for a really good fanfic I'm doing now. Have unearthed a few reworked versions of the Knightmare theme tune recently - feel free to listen and I'll let you make your own opinions of what you think: The Author - Lord Fear (Knightmare Theme) Metal/guitar version of Knightmare ZX Spectrum 48k version of the Knightmare theme tune If I come across any others, then I'll post them here.

I've played that a few times, I think you can still get it from various Abandonware sites. It's not related to KM, but it's true that the title and helmet make it eerily similar. But it's actually a scrolling 2D shoot-em-up, the gameplay isn't anything remotely like KM as we know it.

Well, it'll probably take me a few hundred hours to write. So as I say, I'm only going to do it if there's enough interest.

Have been on Twitter again just now and having rumbled my way through some Knightmare-related posts, I unearthed a link that led to a rather odd but interesting Youtube video. The band Teeth of the Sea have reworked the Series 1 to 3 opening sequence and added footage from the first ever winning quest to help promote their forthcoming tour. Unusual and would be fairly obscure if someone juest entered "Knightmare" into Youtube. Working in some clips of the Honey Monster could have made it even better. The Goblin Master and his honey were a running in-joke on the forum between Moana Liza and Skarkill, both much missed posters.

Always great to see people doing KM as games. I take it that's RPGmaker you're using? Haven't had much experience with it myself, being an AGS man myself. How are you finding it?

Thanks for the feedback, it's taken on board. Regarding the reverb, to an extent I was kind of stuck with it, as, as far as I can tell, Mogdred and Morghanna's voices always echoed when they spoke. 'Made of magic' sort of thing. Might just be that we only ever saw them when they were in echoey chambers, but it didn't seem like it. There were a couple of scenes where I might have left it out though.

Welcome to the board I have been here since late summer holidays and find this site interesting. Nice to still see the odd newcomer on this site!
