Hi it's me again. I'm back with more Knightmare dreams ^^ A few nights ago, I had a dream that four kids were playing an online video game together, sort of a Knightmare co-op game. When suddenly, they were all sucked into their computers and reappeared in the Knightmare dungeons. Rather than appearing in Treguard's castle, they all appeared underneath the Tower of Goth. One of the kids tried to take a piece of food, but Lord Fear appeared and chased all the kids away. So the aim of the game was for the kids to make their way backwards and get back to Knightmare Castle, but anything and anyone could kill them along the way. I think it worked like the Spanish version of the show, i.e. if one child made it back, the whole team would win. Which is just as well because all the kids started dying to traps a little too quickly. An interesting concept though for Knightmare, starting from the end and making your way backwards.

For the many of you that take an interest or hold residence at either of these forums then this is an announcment from the managment. A decision has been made that the forum KMBS will be closed at the end of the week. We've been considering this a long time and it was agreed that the forum has run its course. Unless a large body of members severly object then at the end of the week the forum may be completely locked to all but admin and mod and left as a tribute and a place where previous events may be read. KMBS is not dead, far from it a "school" section has been made in Surrounds so it may grow just in a smaller and easier controlled state. For all those of you who have contributed to KMBS then i'd like to say a thank you, you have made my time their most enjoyable and I think of KMBS with fond memories. Greetings... The simplest way to freak people out (however old they are) is to sneak up on them - and until I discovered this site, my memories of Knightmare were mainly of its "stalkers". (How odd that the Automatum was only in one series: he, along with the skulls and later stormgeists, summed up the whole show for me). I guess the scariest ones must be Series 3's Ogre (a stalker who actually shouts!) and Hobgoblin ('cause he was so huge). Having said that, I clearly remember marvelling at the sheer grossness of the Miremen, and jumping out of my skin when the Behemoth appeared. (For some reason, in the intervening years, I thought his/its name was Cleave! Right vowel sound, wrong weapon?).

Sounding fairly promising - possibly best chance in years!! Just a small point tho - Why is pickle a knight?? surely Elf-King would be more apt?? (or Arawn!!) or Treguard's ex slave, free to roam?? - bit long i guess

If anyone doesn't know, the chatroom returned last weekend after an absense of several months. If anyone's available after 7pm on Friday and weekends, why not come in sometime? When there's people in it can be pretty cool! See you there, hopefully!

Gonna stick my oar in here because I can see a potential bitching-fest on the way. Other people ARE working on the rpg 6 footage. Just, in this case at least, on the soundtrack and not on the chromakey and video. I've been spending ages trying to remove Greater Manchester from the season 6 dungeon (You have may personal assurance that I HATE pelican Crossings...). Progress sadly has been hellishly slow. I'll pass something on once I have something of a good enough standard not to make a prat of myself...

I've spent a good part of today chatting to Gary Napper. He's probably best known nowadays as the production designer on the videogame Alien: Isolation, but a little over 20 years ago he was a member of a group of lads who called themselves Freshlove Productions. Expect an episode on the Knightmare spoof "Bad Dreem" soon My partner who lives in America once casually said "Ewar Woowar" and halted me in my tracks. He only had passing knowledge of Knightmare at the time so how he even found Bad Dreem, I have no idea

I was at Warwick Castle last month. No sign of Fidjit at the entrance. Ha, that does look very similar! (Fidjit was at Simancas Castle, though.)

would be amazing to see another go at a knightmare game given that other project seams to have gone dead sadly or even a reupload of a elderly one would not harm anybody at all.

The Medusa of Series 2 Team 3's fate. Christopher enters room looking directly at the Medusa. Tregaurd gives his extreme warning to the team and states that they need the shield in order to get past. Cue the advisors thinking "Oh bugger", and before you know it, the Medusa room has evolved into a flash of different colours before turning the entire team into stone.... The next time the Medusa appeared, where Series 2 Team 10 successfully passed it using the shield, was equally gripping, since the advisors had to each take it in turn to guide Julian to the exit. Unfortunatley the Medusa's third and final appearance in Series 3 Team 4's quest was not quite as good, where Leo et al were just able to hold it off using a GRIP spell before easily getting to the exit - one of the low points of Series 3 perhaps.

No, this is the point where I go "Oooooooooooh!", and point out that this agitation really does deserve my subtitle!

The darker gloomer arears of the Knightmare dissucusion forum are a little less dark and gloomy. For the Phoenix has returned and arisen from the ashes and once more the Flame Burns Bright a becon of light in a dungeon so deep and dark. Welcome Back Flammey. Aww, thanks! Its good to be back!
