If you're using Internet Explorer to do so, Velda, this is a mistake.
Help, however, is at hand at http://forester.ezri.mine.nu/interactive/.

How do I get in through mIRC again, it's been a while since I used it

On the server list it's all random servers, nothing about knightmare.homeip.net.
Much appreciated

Um, good to see it's up and running again.

Having the same problem as well and as Knightmare is my homepage it keeps happening.
When this occasionally happens what I do is go to

Is anyone having problems with the internet tonight? I have got this page cannot be displayed a couple of times with both the main website and the forum amongst other pages. I'm surprised I can even get ot now. My connection says that it cannot determine IP address for target Server, which it usually says when I can't get a connection at all. But yet I can still view other pages just fine though, it's just a view that keep giving me problems. I can't view all pictures and icons properly though either!

The Internet failing. Perfect.
Seriously, I couldn't even get Google to do much quickly.
And I'm guessing the main Knightmare website occasionally disappears because there is so much data transfer...when the limit (set by evil webmaster web-builder people with shiny suits...usually up to 50GB a month) is exceeded, the website disappears for a bit.
I know because it happens to me all too often.

I've just seen the NTL homepage and it now says that there is DNS problems affecting all NTL:home packages and this is what it says
From NTL home page
DNS problems affecting all ntl:home Internet packages
Due to a major server outage, ntl:home Internet customers on all packages may currently be experiencing problems with all Internet access & services, including web browsing, email, FTP and newsgroups.
Our engineers are currently investigating and hope to resolve this issue as soon as possible.
Due to the nature of this outage, our technical support phone lines are much busier than normal resulting in long wait times.
If you suspect this issue affects you, please visit the ntlworld server status page or call our server status line on 0800 052 4315 for the latest update.
Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused.
Looks like Goblins in their system. Typical though, we haven't tried ringing them but I bet that if anyone tries to they will probably have a problem getting through though. I just hope that the Grimwolds arn't with NTL.

I know lots of people have had DNS problems over the last few days. I would sympathise, apart from I have no idea what DNS means. Answers on a postcard to The Kitchen, Level 1, Knightmare Dungeon, C/O Anglia Television, 3R1 3JG.

We don't know what NTL is, dearie, so I hope we're not with it, otherwise it must be a bit lonely by now. Most of our internet connections don't last very long, since we connect via the Level 1 Payphone, and- well, dearie, that regularly gets vandalised by some hooligans. It ends up with quasi-canine tooth marks and club marks all over it, you see, dearie, and it's such a trouble to get an engineer to come past the Great Corridor of the Catacomb, what with the goblins and the miremen and the skeletrons and all.

Tell hubby that that knice man is not a dungeoneer and is trying to do you and him a favour also tell Festus not to try and attempt to make a light snack out of the man and also tell the man's got something like a couple of large bones for him. Anyway the internet seems to be back to normal again.

I know what you mean. However as far as I am aware this should not happen with the main site or forum. If bandwidth is exceeded (particularly the forum) then I will be notified before action is taken. Thankfully this has only happened once before and I managed to get away with it. ;D

Because there weren't any meddling kids around, perhaps? ;D
