Knightmare Q&A
-
Well it could have went something like this though:
Q1. Who was the Dungeon Master in Knightmare?
a. Lord Fear
b. Treguard
c. Majida
d. Lord Lucan
'hhmmm I think it might be a.' hearing coughing in the background 'Um actually I think it might be b' hears a different kind of coughing 'I'l go with b'
'are you sure? You don't want to change your mind do you'....and so on
-
I know! I know! jumps up and down its C!
-
Correct!..(Checks notes)...oh, hang on, acording to this its B. Sorry!
-
Sounds a bit like the program 100% ;D
Majilda was the first assistant to Treguard is that TRUE or FALSE?
(THREE SECONDS ELAPSE)
The answer is false it was Pickle... ;D
This sort of information was probably the basis for that Knightmare article shown on another part of the forum...the Knightmare Knews bit, I think. Reproduced in full by our very own jester, Motley!
Was it?

-
Yes, I think so Motley.
And I like 100%. Once used the 'play along' feature and became totally exhausted at the end of it.
That would be good, though...a 100% Knightmare quiz. After 100 questions I'd probably explode.
-
I recon I'd do a lot better on a Knightmare 100% then when I used to try and answer the questions when 100% was on Channel 5. I used to do extremely badly and it didn't help when my mum was trying to answer the questions, calling out what she thought the answers were before I got a chance to give an answer.
-
I used to cheat on the play along feature on Challenge for 100%...I'd wait for the contestants to give an answer then rapidly put in the most popular.
It ain't honest, but it guarantees a score of at least 60%... I play to win.
-
I'm glad you didn't use "a 100" which, grammatically, is wrong.
And I'd probably crack under pressure and say Pickle was on the Opposition's side with Lord Bear.
-
Exactly.
Unless they found a 50ft tall woman to play Malice in the final confrontation.
Or a 9ft Merlin in Level 3, series 3...

Perhaps what the site needs is an "Anorak's corner" where all of KM's dullest and most arcane statistics can be listed. Y'know the sort of thing, how many dungeoneers died by falling from a great height, how many quests were to claim the sword, how many times did Treguard so "Oooooo nasty"or "Oh dear, what a pity" throughout the series? That way, when people come onto the forum and ask an obscure question that no one has a hope of being able to answer without spending several days trawling through video tapes, we can just refer them to Anorak's corner.
