Knightmare on Challenge schedule
-
If anyone hasn't got the exact times for the 2 episodes over Christmas (they were just under the three hour "Cult Christmas Collection" programme heading before), here they are:
1st Episode, 23rd Dec. (today): 2.55pm, repeated 9.55pm
2nd Episode, 26th Dec. : 3.30pm, repeated 10.30pm.
While I'm sure some people will watch the Cult Selection in its full glory, that should help the people who only have time to tune in for Knightmare.

My plan of action, aka Operation Festus:
-
Watch Knightmare on Challenge?
-
Shortly after, go to their website and tell them how much I loved it and how I'd love to see lots more of it in their schedules.
Warning: this post will self-destruct in 10 seconds.

Not to worry. Challenge? Have bought for 10 showings of each episode. Although it's a tad confusing as in january they'll've used 4 repeats for the first two episodes and then only 2 for the other ones. hmm. Spoke with the guy at challenge? btw and he highly doubts they would show Knightmare on FTN as he said FTn aren't interested in showing those types of programmes (through challenge on there btw)

Watched it @ 2.55 today, and I must say it is BRILL in stereo, and superb quality of course.
I thought Hugo looked rather well in the documentary, although his ohh nasty was not filled with the Treguard acclaim we are used to.
I also contacted the Challenge? people and expressed my desire to watch MORE series' of Knightmare, and to be honest they really sounded rather positive, they are just looking to see how KM does in the ratings for any possible series after that.
Lets hope they were good!
-
Or "how Cliff managed" even ;D
Yes. Finally that mystery will be solved.
-
The problem here is: If they get good ratings, then Anglia will put up the price of the series', which means if Challenge? wish to buy more series, the price could be a lot higher.
That worries me, if too expensive, Challenge? may just forget about buying any more.

I see your point. And I seem to remember mentioning something similar on another thread. But as I also said there, I'd hope Anglia are realistic. If Challenge don't show repeats of it, then most likely no-one will. In that situation they'd be getting no revenue from the show, whereas if they sell rights to Challenge? at the fairish price, they're guarateed a decent income. I'd hope, therefore, there would be a price acceptable to both parties.

Grrr. They didn't use mine or debz interviews
Yes. I'd been looking forward to seeing what you had to say.
-
Hmm, after almost a military operation to drag my family around to someone's with Sky (Missing the Boxing day pudding I might add! ), calling various rellies to say "Watch Challenge? now!", I was a bit miffed to find out we weren't on. Admittedly I really didnt want to sit there an cringe through the crap I churned out, but I would have liked the option! Oh well...

Let's remember, however, that the Top 10 Christmas Cult Programmes (as voted for on Challenge's website) are announced on New Year's Day. I seem to remember mention of an episode of at least the winning show. So:
-
They might end up showing Ep. 3 on New Year's Day.
-
Perhaps they might use your interviews as material when they get to KM in the countdown. It'd probably be a logical thing to show the fans then.
So fear not, Debzarella, you may still go to the ball. Just be sure to switch off Challenge? before midnight or Treguard will turn into a pumpkin.

I'm not so sure of the times of the shows on New Year's Day.
The schedules have "Christmas Cult Winners" listed as separate entries for 2-2.15pm, 2.15-3.25pm, 3.25-4.25pm, and 4.25 to 5pm, then another load 9-9.35pm, 9.35-10.30pm, 10.30-11.25pm, and 11.25-midnight. It's like that both on the Skyguide and on the Challenge? website. I'm guessing that it's a 3 hour countdown rather than lots of little bits, so basically 2-5pm then 9pm-midnight. I'd also guess that the latter is a repeat of the 2-5pm show, rather than six hours worth of different footage. As to where Knightmare will feature, well, let's hope near the top of the countdown.
