It's okay, nothing to worry about, it's just this is something like the 10th new topic you've started only today, and a lot of them could easily be pasted together into a smaller number of threads, which would make life a lot easier for everyone else.

Like I say, nothing to worry about, just put it down to experience eh?

Do you think Knightmare should have tried to be more historically accurate?

Is it important to Knigthmare fans?

I myself have enjoyed historical novesls such as:

Krzacy (Teutonic Knights) by Henryk Sienciewicz

        Katherine by Anya Seton

The Last Templar by Can#t remember

        Stonhenge by Bernard Cornwell

        Winter King by Bernard Cornwell

Enemy of God by Bernard Cornwell

        Excaliber by Bernard Cornwell

        Harlequin by Bernard Cornwell

        Vagabond by Bernard Cornwell

        Heretic by Bernard Cornwell

How about Silmarillion by JRR Tolkein

Hisotical accuracy is important to me, though some of the above are more accurate than others, but their all great books.

I don't think historical accuracy is necessary, within fantasy I guess you can do what you wish. Be interesting to try and sort that out for future RPG's however.

I know how to spell sword, it was a type-o. If I couldn't do that there wouldn't be any point in me doing an MA would there?

I suppose accuracy isn't always that important in fantasy, but the Knightmare books go a bit far on the whole Norman-Saxon thing.

Historically accurate? In Knightmare? Blows out cheeks That's a bit like asking which Police Academy film is the funniest!

In answer, Merlin I suppose. Merlin was a genuine historical figure (contrary to popular assumption) whose real name was Leilocen, and so that makes him just about unique among KM characters.

Historically accurate?! In Knightmare?! You have GOT to be kidding me! Somehow I doubt Tim Child intended historical accuracy. It's a kids (and adults) show!
