Re:Which KM monster did you find the cutest?

Agreed on that dreadnort.
But I think the latter-day Pookas didn't look at all scary. if the eyes looked in the same direction they could look cute. Instead they just look a bit brainless.
The series 3 wall monsters seemed like characters to split a gin with and talk about the finer verses of Keats, for some reason. And comment on the cricket and rugger results. Well, Golgarach does anyway. The old plastery fellow.

I don't know why but I have a slight soft spot for the Brollachan, don't know why though.
That's very understandable. The Brollachan's so vulnerable and unhappy because it's had its knowledge taken away. (It's actually a really neat idea for a character in a drama series, but a daft creation for the purpose for which it was introduced.)

Agreed with the point about the Brollachan. It was a character deserving of some sympathy.
Imagine if you had all your knowledge taken away!! Although in the case of Skarkill, who'd notice the difference

Maybe thats why I like them so much. Oh dear now I've got the theme song playing in my head...

The two types were about the way they were drawn. The original pookas were hand-drawn and had very limited animation, whereas the later ones were CGI, and were slightly "livelier". Unfortunately they were also given silly baby faces that looked a lot less threatening than the sharp-mouthed, furrow-browed earlier incarnation.

Theres millions of explainations of Pookas. They are some kind of irish mythical
supernatural creature which assumes the guise of a malevolent horse. Or an Imp that lives at the bottom of your garden.
But that old style of Pooka sure did look much more scary than the CGI one. Look at the eyes.............mysterious

I have to say I always thought the Cavernwights were cute. They never really looked dangerous though. I reckon they just wanted a big ol' hug. And the catacombites! they always sounded so happy to see the dungeoneers. Such jolly purring sounds they made! oh, wait. That's not purring...
