Well as Glenn clarified things by saying forum members lets keep awards mainly to that. I think it would be a good idea to remind people to take any nominations in good spirit, and for those nominating not to be offensive.

Hmm I dunno about forum awards really,
I think it would be a good idea to remind people to take any nominations in good spirit, and for those nominating not to be offensive.
Problems I have seen on another forum is not only people doing what is mentioned above, but getting very annoyed about not winning good awards and such and it all turns into a daft row over things that mean next to nothing.

Well not exactly terrorising all members. Just one or two. Anyway I agree with the last statement. This thread's more suited in the General board.

Yes, Drassil, for outstanding contribution to the 'I had a silly idea...' topic, creating masterful KM lyrics to popular songs. Wish I had that amount of ability in music (I never really got past crotchet and quaver in lessons, and after the second of those two I thought of crisps for some reason... ).

I'm always pleased when someone takes enjoyment in something I myself enjoy doing. But on reflection, as far as an award goes, I don't know if I'm any worthier than anyone else. Everyone posting at the moment makes a unique and valid contribution to the Forum; plus, being a Knightmare fan and a Knightmare Forum member is its own reward.
So, without wishing to seem rude, I don't think I'll accept this award. But thanks anyway. Even though the 'Silly Idea' thread has been relegated to the Archives (http://www.talkknightmare.co.uk/yabbse/http://www.knightmare.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=7;action=display;threadid=818), I'm still adding to it.

Right, I've had to register over there and bumble about looking for the thread but I've found it now.
To be honest I think that trying to review the last year would be really tough - look back at posts from a year ago and things are very different. I've been here since May 2004 and things certainally seem different now.
