Bad Idea: Thinking You Are Oh-So Smart And Ignoring Treguards Warnings About The Immenet Pit Of Death

And the team who also ignored Treguard in series 5, when they were told to take an arrow ("no Pickle, not a weapon, more like a token,") then they don't take it, take the poison, and have a weird idea about trying to hide a knife.
Good idea for Simons team: "Walk forward"
Bad idea for the same team: "Side step to the left."
Simons team was in series 4.

Even Better Idea : Riding Romahna!! Something about that 'Phantom of the Opera style mask. Goes weak at the knees

Good idea: collecting the green energy plants in series 2.
Bad idea: attempting to chop them finely and sprinkle the pieces on mashed potato.
Good idea: talking to Mug, to convince him that he's not ugly.
Bad idea: getting Elita to do it instead.
Good idea: drinking something given to you by Brother Mace.
Bad idea: drinking something given to you by Mildread.
Good idea: flying on the back of Smirkenorff to reach Level 2.
Bad idea: flying on a magic carpet to see the King Of The Potato People, and beg for your freedom... and you're telling me you're completely sane? I think that calls for two hours of W.O.O.

Good idea: Challenging Cedric to a bout of riddles.
Bad idea: Challenging Cedric to a bout of fisticuffs.
(Series 5 Team 7)
Good idea: Attempting to get past a blocker with a password.
Bad idea: Attempting to get past a blocker with a causeway combination sequence.
(Series 7 Team 4)
Good idea: Crossing the Trial By Spikes using the squares.
Bad idea: Crossing the Trial By Spikes using steps.
(Series 8 Teams 6 & 7)
Good idea: Getting from Level 1 to Level 3 via Level 2.
Bad idea: Getting from Level 1 to Level 3 via the Corridor of Blades masquerading as a shortcut.

Good idea: "I am Granitas of legend, three riddles have I and truth I seek."
Also good idea: ditto Olgarth, Igneous, Cedric, Merlin, Brangwen, Golgarach, Oakley... or anyone else who asks riddles. With one notable exception.
Bad idea: "Snipper snap, snipper snap..."
Brought on by the start of series 8 the other day.

Good idea: Giving Elita the gem she obviously wants.
Bad idea: Taking half the program to decide to do so.
