Re:Download Knightmare Game Here!

Hey there
Cheers for the copy of the game man, its great. Me and my brother stick it on when we have 14 mins spare.
I promised feedback so thats what Ill give.
The Causeways are fantastic so well done.
Ive only come across the play your cards right puzzle once but I think its my favourite room! The persepective is quality!
I like the way you have interpreted some of the isometric rooms from series 7
The Pookas, geists and floating skulls look amazing. I like the cameo from the series 4 pooka as wel!l knice
The only room I didn't like was the corridor of blades. I would put the blades lower and make the dungeoneer smaller id possible. Im still glad you have included it.
The Troll part of the shield quest is really hard. Got killed a few times there.
Everything is really well presented. Will there be any more versions. You wouldn't necessarily need the voice acting. This means you could add in you own questions
If possible there could be be a choice of items to take and if the wrong item was taken would result in death.
Was it difficult to make? as its inspired me to have a go!

I'm still waiting for my copy. I'm the U.S. guy. If I can get it before college is over, then I'll write a review.

Received my copy, many thanks DJ Oska! It looks and sounds absolutely brilliant, I can't imagine how much time and effort you've put into this! If only the big commercial game companies put as much detail and attention into their games as you have! With proper backing, this could be a massive hit game!
I've only played through a couple of times, been killed more times than I care to admit ( ) but I can't praise your efforts enough on this game. Many thanks for the copy!

I spent days and days creating the game!
I spent every morning for weeks recording the shows onto my PC so that I could screenshot and sample things. Then there was the bitmap editing and sound editing- both very demanding tasks but the end result was great, then there was the interpreting of the rooms onto the 2D view, then finally the programming and links!!!!
I had to debate about the angle to make it convincing- one option was to make it a vertical view down onto the dungeoneer but in the end, I decided to work on a vew slightly higher than on the programme.
After each room was created, I would then test the game for everything- boundaries, doorways, energy-damages, etc...
So basically, It took me a lot longer than you think!!!
There may be other versions released- I will let you know.
These may contain the same game but with remaining errors disappearing en-update!
Thankyou for uploading the game, Turaga- now promote it big-time!!!!!!!!
Thankyou

I'm downloading the game now. Will give feedback when I've had the chance to play it.
I must say, seeing the screenshots it does look very cool!
-
Yeah the screenshots do look good don't they?
Almost real from a distance!
Most of the scenery, objects and people were edited from screenshots from the TV series'!
I'm warning you though- it's pretty tough but if you know what you're doing, and you know whats going on around you then that makes it easier!
but then try it when you have a helmet on your head and someone's guiding you- then it's a challenge!
...And in a candle lit room!
All in all, I say the game looks very authentic and I'm well proud of what I have achieved!

Only played it for 15 minutes so far, but a very entertaining 15 minutes. Fantastic work! A few problems. It's kind of hard to read scrolls. I noticed a glitch that reduced my life to eyeballs as soon as I entered. I'd love to see more videos and more quality images on the next game, but for a first-time project, outstanding! I thought movement was a problem, but it had perfect timing on everything.
Rating on spec: 8.7 out of 10.

I thought it was on a CD as you said in another topic and you asked for postal address????

It Was, But I Am Hosting On The Web So That The World Can Have It In A Few Short Minutes Instead Of A Few Long Days

I have a few more comments about it. It probably sounds picky, but I'm guessing you want constructive criticism.
-
Anytime I was to give a password or answer, I just started hitting all the letters on the keyboard. Maybe have about ten answers up and let the player choose by typing it in.

PLEASE change that witch. It's the one thing I keep dying from. It's impossible to get the food AND escape.
-
I like that I'm able to Pause and look at the help screens for anything I might need.
-
I don't know how to run the Pooka file. What is it for?
-
I died on that Play Your Cards Right puzzle because I wasn't sure how to answer. I thought I was suppose to back up, then approach my choice, and by backing up...I promptly died. How do you play it? (not the rules, but how to answer)
Still a great game.

All you do is click on the cards with your cursor.
You don't have to move about the dungeoneer

Hi - I've downloaded the game and loved it!
Just two little probs I've found... the first wall monster password - i've never found the clue to the password but have successfully guessed it random keyboard pressing (basically, it wont let you get the answer wrong - along with other password rooms)
and the battle chess board is a bit weird,
but other than those, its been great fun... i've not had much problem with the witchs beams... just gotta have good timing for that... the corridor of blades was quite scary... and when on one quest the first room of level 1 was the bomb room too! All great stuff bringing back heaps of memories that I now get to feel a part of!
Excellent work! This'll put ya in the Knightmare history books!
