Riddles

I liked Motleys frogs legs question, simply because its so simple.
Elitas hahaha hehehe to Alexs team in series 5 was funny (I can't remember the exact quote,) simply because the team took ages to realise they needed to use the spell on her.
Series 4, team 1, Helen, James, Rachel and Craig from Tyne and Wear:
The Quest for the Cup : Duration 43mins, was good when they gave Fatilla some gold and convinced him he could eat it.

"Which is deeper - the ocean or a saucer of water?"
I know where you're coming from with that one, but if you look at it in the context of the previous two riddles in the challenge, it was actually a rather clever trap.
The first two questions both had answers that were the opposite of what you would probably expect at first glance. That got the team into the mindset to go for the least obvious answer every time, and so of course they were undone by it.

The first riddle went something on the lines of, "Who is stronger? The warrior or the scribe?" (Answer; the scribe, for the pen is mightier than the sword.)
The second was, "Which is easier to carry? A lead vase or a feather in the wind?" (Answer: a lead vase, because you can't even catch a feather in the wind.)
The dungeoneer was Kelly from team 7 season 3, and the wall monster was Golgarach.

I'm not sure about the most stupid but definently the most stupidly hard had to be one of Owen the Dragon's!
"What is the largest Ring in the Land?"
I think the answer was meant to be Ascot (The Horse Racing Track) which is a little bit unfair! Haven't watched it for a while though so not sure if this is exactly how it was said!

Ah, yes, the infamous Series 3 Level 3 riddles....
You've actually got them slightly mixed up somehow.
In Leo's quest (Team 4) it was the gargoyle who asked what the largest ring in the land was, and the answer happened to be "Avebury".
In Martin's quest (Team 11) Owen the dragon asked what the likes of the stag and deer hunter were, to which the answer was "Beetle".
Hope that helps.
LATER EDIT: modified to accommodate the actual correct answer.

The ring of standing stones at Avebury is actually quite famous, so I think it was a fair enough riddle to include.
A Fair enough Riddle to incude but a "YOU MUST GET RIGHT OR FAIL" is harsh in comaprison to other series Level 3's! Series 3 was definently the hardest Level 3 in all the series!
