Yep Series 8 started this morning. Fortunately I found it on the schedule last night, I am in need of KM therapy atm and it came at the right time! Does anyone know the status regarding the series rights atm, regarding what they have left, if any?
I really need to see series 3 atm (good therapy!), but we only have copies on tape and we can't find the video player (last seen in the loft!!)!

Oooh Nasty. Be nice if they could renew the rights, I can't be the only one who has got back into it. Apart from that it doesn't help that it isn't advertised (To my knowledge), I had to go searching for it on Digital Spy (Challenge website kept crashing the laptop with their adverts!) and some might not have the time or the inclination to do that.

S3 was the season they got the rights to first, back in December 2003. It was because they recognised that S3 was generally held to be the best of the lot. They then picked up s4-8 over the next few months before going back to the beginning and taking up S1 and 2.

does anyone know what happened to knightmare series seven. it started on challenge. according to the tv guide and challenge website its been replaced by takeshi castle and poker was enjoying watching it any one know what happened ?
Funnily enough, you beat me to it...I was going to ask the same question in case anyone knew what had happened! Looks like our best bet is to harass Challenge TV... rolls up sleeves

I've left a question for the Challenge Guru asking him when it is due to return, and I've had a good search through the Sky listings for the next week too. There's no sign of it in the listings and in fact Challenge TV look like they've altered their whole daytime schedule...so I have this bad feeling it won't be back for a while

Hi, does anyone know if knightmare is still getting shown on challenge tv? and if so does anyone know how I would subscribe to challenge tv? if it's not still getting shown on challenge tv does anyone know if it's getting shown on anohyter channel/s and if so how I would subscribe to that channel?

Challenge's rights to the series have more or less expired now, although they haven't ruled out renewing them. You can keep an eye out for developments on their website.

You can subscribe through Sky TV, or NTL/Virgin TV.
To the best of public knowledge, no other channel has expressed an interest in buying the series recently.

No plans for Knightmare at the moment either, sorry, but we are afrer other shows, and if these fall thru maybe Knightmare and Fort Boyard will come back to the table as opposed to being on the back burner.
Let's hope the other shows fall through, then.
