Seeing as we now have a growing number of episodes having more than one commentary, I've restructured each page to group them by commentator, rather than having a big list for each series. This allows you to see at a glance which particular person has done what eps, along with letting one-shot commentators stand out more.

By the way, when you click on Jake's Series 8 Episode 9 it links to his Series 8 Episode 2 commentary

Fix'd. Well spotted, that man. Take ten points and some retro c64 music goodness as your reward.

I have to say that I have thus far avoided listening to the later series 8 commentaries....

I'm trying to gather up the courage.

From what I gather, any rage and fury is of the restrained variety.

At least, until I get in on the act again. At which point, they will consist of 25 minutes of "Why? Why? WHY?", with the occasional gunshot.

Le Chevalier du Labyrinthe Commentary by Jake Collins & Ross Thompson - http://www.mediafire.com/?ccofgszwhl9q1vk

                The youtube links for this episode are - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i_4HA8uDnHM // http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DKsffu-pvsY // http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=soiAvhsBpqg

Would it be OK if whoever puts them on the site accompanies it with the links to the episode? Thanks

Ooo, now this is an unexpected one. Definitely warrents a new section on the site, methinks. Nicely done you two, this will go up when I do my next round of uploadings. And yes, links to YT will be provided.

Right now, pretty much every commentary in this thread has now been cleaned up, converted, and uploaded to the website. Only exception are the ones appearing here that are in .wma format, which isn't a format that Audacity can work with. If anyone has submittied in .wma and wants me to remove any background noise, please repost in .wav and I will clean up and post ASAP. Other than that, we're now fully up to date.

                      Good job.

Please could you let me know which of mine/mine and Jake's are WMAs so that I can convert them to WAVs and send them to you.

                      Thanks

I think only your series 8, episode 9 needs doing.

Just checking, I need to upload Le Chevalier du Labyrinthe as well. Will do that tomorrow, so if you can get a .wav of the other one, I'll do both at once.

OK, I'll send them as WAV files via Sendspace.

Just realised another one that's missing - Rosey and me talking about Series 7 Episode 8. I'll Sendspace that as a WAV to you too.

These are .wma files and I can't convert them, but they're not going anywhere so you (Andy or Martin) could just put the MediaFire links on The Dunshelm Players website. The same goes for the "Le Chevalier" commentary.

Probably said this before plenty of times, but these commentaries are fantastic. They remind me of when me and my brother would watch the repeats on Challenge/Sci Fi and talk endlessly about cack going on in the episode, paying not a blind bit of notice to the plot or stuff like that. Not that these commentaries are anything like our conversations, because they actually have a sense of humour.

The commentaries also have a replay value matching that of the series. It's nice to pick a random commentary once in a while and listen to other people discussing the same nonsense we did all those years ago.

Thanks to everyone concerned, and keep up the excellent work! Interesting to hear all these different opinions.

Yes. Very yes, in fact. Along with yours and Rosey's Sidriss sketch, and all previously-not-on-the-website commentaries. It'll be the equivalent of waiting decades for a bus and having over 9000 turn up at once. Or something.

But really, stuff will be going up over the next couple of days.

This is very good news indeed. If you're sorting out commentaries, I did a trawl of all mine and Rosey's just before Christmas and I found only one that still doesn't link to the right file. I posted this in the Commentaries thread too, but here it is again, with the MediaFire link in case you need to re-download the original file:
