Also - the antechamber seems to have been filmed in a blue room. Surely they must have two adjacent blue rooms so that the team can guide the dungeoneer?

So that's Hugo, Mark Knight and Cliff Barry all back at least, along with a surprise return for Nick Collett who played two characters (Despair and, erm, Lissard) in, of all things, the 2004 Knightmare VR pilot! He was also in Timebusters so goes back a fair way with Tim.
Also, Emma Blackery (the female advisor and a popular youtube musician) wasn't even born until 1991, midway through Series 5. This makes me feel incredibly old.

Ooooh, good find. The jester had better be a new character and not an awful attempt to recast Folly or Motley!
I see spider webs... wonder if that's an unused KMVR room?

Nice behind the scenes photos... and there was me thinking it was a real dungeon. So pleased there's and new Jester in town, and he looks promising.. a real jester like Folly and not Motley (who out stayed his welcome)
Be interesting to see how the CG works, I just hope it's as impressive as it was all those years ago. A painted background always looks so much better than a computer graphic.. and theses days im sure Cg is getting worse.
Nah they wont be allowed to die too soon, plus they would want to show off the dungeon. This feels more of an advertisement or a spoof.
I just hope this team treats it respectfully and not live up to their 'youtube comedic characters' and followers expectations. I like real people to be on the show.
I should stop having negative thoughts, but I just can't stop myself.

That's correct. The advisors are sitting in their own blue room and the dungeoneer is in a second.
This is because they didn't have time to build a set for the antechamber.
Nick Collett is playing a new Jester.
So far the only other NPC that I know of is Jessie Cave (from Harry Potter) who also plays a new character.
I should also add that some rooms from Knightmare series 3 (at least) are making a reappearance. I haven't studied them closely, but I don't think their hand drawn. Davie Rowe will be in the studio today, so I will try to make a point of asking him.

I posted one of the pictures on a fanclub I'm in and they got super-hyped when they saw their favourite YouTubers involved in it, so I think we may have some more potential KM fans arising

Does anyone know who the fourth returning cast member is mentioned in the article? I only knew of Hugo Myatt, Mark Knight and Clifford Barry.

It sounds like a fourth returning actor from the way he's said it. Maybe we're in for a surprise!
It's exciting that Tim Child is open to the fact of Knightmare possibly returning for a new series on TV, but only if this one-off special is any good which I really hope it is.

Wow I wonder who it could be then?! Could it be Hordriss?! Only a wild guess hut I think that would be cool!
Yes this would be amazing if this was to happen! I don't see why it can't. Judging by the viewing figures for the repeats on Challenge, the audience is still there.

After the wrap party I had to drive home (3.5 hours) and having arrived home at 1AM, I foolishly went to bed rather than checking the forum so now there's a bollock tonne of stuff to answer....

Nicholas Collet, who played several characters in the VR and was the voice of Buster in Time Busters.
I've just twigged that this might be the reason my 'Knightmare Revisited' article was renamed - I submitted it to Alan with the title 'Bringing Back Knightmare'.

I managed to get interviews with almost all of the cast and the contestants. Google have indicated they will give me their (very extensive) photos in due course.
